I am a 3rd-year backend developer currently preparing to change jobs. Ahead of the first-half recruitment season, I decided to purchase this course because I kept failing the resume screening process with my existing resume. While I am currently revising my resume and finding many parts of the lecture truly helpful... since my career has been focused on SI/SM rather than service-based companies, I am finding it difficult to write down elements that would attract the attention of a hiring manager. In cases like this, it would be great if you could incorporate some advice into the lecture regarding what direction I should take in my preparation.
Hello super_dev! Thank you for the course review! Since I also have experience transitioning from SI + Embedded to a service-based company, let me start with a brief response! I think you need a strategy based on the situation! [Situation 1] Wishing to move from "SI/SM -> Service Company" Ultimately, even in SI/SM, "solving problems" is the same. I believe the best strategy is to write based on that perspective, referring to the content covered in the lecture! [Situation 2] Wishing to move from "SI/SM -> SI/SM" Conversely, rather than appealing too much to problem-solving, it would be better to focus on how efficiently you "completed" the work (schedules, Man-Months, responding to specification changes in the middle, etc.). I will think about whether I can add content regarding this part to the lecture or if there's another way to address it! Thank you!
