I was lucky enough to start my developer career at a small company about a year and a half ago. However, I was worried about whether this company would be enough as my final destination and felt lost on how to move to a better company to build my career. That’s when I came across this well-organized lecture. Unlike the fragmented information I often see on YouTube, this was structured information that helped me clearly outline the process in my head. The lecture doesn't offer "silver bullets" or secret moves; instead, it provides a realistic perspective from a reviewer's point of view and covers the fundamental principles of document screening. Since I am still a junior and have never been a reviewer myself, I was able to identify things I had been missing. In particular, I gained confidence in knowing which parts to remove from my resume. Of course, the time spent finding my own strengths from my past work and figuring out how to appeal to them remains my own task. However, I can now indirectly consider how a reviewer might skim through my documents. You could say it helped with my meta-cognition. Using what I’ve learned from this lecture as nourishment, I plan to write a resume that presents my appeal more effectively.

Thank you for the review, Sangumburi! I am so relieved and happy to hear that this lecture was helpful to you, especially since you came across it while having many concerns! Since a resume truly represents who you are, I believe its form varies just as people do. That is why I think there can be no single right answer...! I feel great because it seems you understood the lecture's perspective on that aspect very well! I am so glad to hear that it helped with your metacognition! Thank you!
