This is a "Completion Review." I am a student who has just started studying to become a backend developer. In other words, I have almost no prior knowledge before taking this course. Whenever I took Spring and Java courses, I always thought, 'I understand what they're saying... but how does this actually connect to real-world applications?' The example code was sufficient for understanding the content, but I was frustrated because I didn't know how these functions come together and are used to become part of an actual program. It's like putting together a fragmented puzzle without seeing the finished product, but with about a million pieces. I even felt that this sometimes diminished my motivation to learn. I wanted to know what I needed to be able to do with real code, not just the dictionary definition of a backend developer, so I pushed myself to take the course. As a result, well, of course... did I even understand 10% of the lecture? At least the web structure in the beginning was somewhat clear, but soon the amount of code I had never experienced poured out, and it was quite difficult to just follow along and type. I started with the thought, 'Okay, even if I don't understand, let's just write it down.' but I didn't know it would be this hard. I spent so much time because of those typos. (But thanks to that, I got to stare at the code for a while trying to find typos.) I thought it would take about two weeks to follow along, but it took over a month... Anyway, I think I have really achieved my goal sufficiently. From my personal experience, it was a very satisfactory course, and now I will go back to studying Spring and Java and continue learning, and I will also go back to this course and try to find and understand it stitch by stitch, no matter how long it takes this time. Thank you for creating a great lecture.
theplayer1003, thank you for the great review!! Wow, you wrote such a detailed course review. 😊😊😊 I fully understand how hard it must have been just to keep up with the lectures..! There's a lot of content and it's difficult, and even the amount of code gradually increases... But I think it's amazing that you didn't give up and completed the course to the end!! Once you've climbed a big mountain, climbing smaller mountains afterwards is relatively easy and not difficult. Even if you just plant an index in your head, there will be times when you suddenly remember, "Ah, that was it!" later on! Typos are a mistake that I always suffer from, and the process of finding the cause is painful and futile. However, these processes seemed to provide an opportunity to carefully examine the code, as you said. The process of finding and solving errors has always been meaningful in retrospect! Congratulations on completing the course, and thank you for listening so hard! I hope you will review it from time to time in the future to gain a deeper understanding!!
