First of all, thank you for uploading a great lecture for free. I learned a little bit about node.js and react, but I forgot some things, so I'm watching to see John Ahn's educational video series. Since it says "basic" lecture, I thought it was for people who don't know anything about node and react, but it doesn't seem to be a lecture for people who are learning node.js and react for the first time. It's a "basic" lecture for John Ahn's "Full-stack web development series that you learn by following along". In other words, it seems to be a basic lecture (base) of the series lecture, not a basic lecture. I think it would be good for people who have studied the basics of node.js and react to some extent. In particular, this lecture is not for people who are learning react for the first time. If you don't understand react at all while watching this lecture, it would be good to watch Lee Go-ing's React video or book from Life Coding, and you will understand it better. I think it would be good to first watch the basic lecture on node.js and then watch it if you want to know how to implement React and node together or for review.
