[Online] How to Redesign Your Expertise in the AI Era

A 150-minute meetup with CEO Yongho Ha, who started as a first-generation data scientist, achieved two successful exits, served on the National AI Strategy Committee, and has established his own standards at the center of change while experiencing the flow of AI closer than anyone else! Have you ever felt that the more you use AI, the more you lose sense of what your own expertise actually is? The identity of this anxiety is "Workslop," along with the technical, cognitive, and intentional debt that is accumulating without us even realizing it. This meetup starts with diagnosing the true nature of this anxiety and covers everything from verification skills and structural design to learning methods for building your own judgment criteria. We will share practical stories on how to work without being shaken.

These days, AI's productivity is a series of wonders.
However, the more I use AI, the more anxious I feel.

"AI does everything for me... then what about my expertise?"

The term work slop, which describes the feeling of drifting without standards amidst AI-generated outputs, is likely being discussed lately for the same reason.

But there is always a way through change.

In this live session, we will identify the true nature of that anxiety
and share practical methods for solid growth in the AI era.

Talk Session (90 min)

This is a time to explore problem definitions and response strategies for the AI era from Ha Yong-ho's perspective, broken down into 7 chapters.

Q&A Session (60 minutes)

This is a time to hear directly from Ha Yong-ho about his experiences and thoughts regarding the concerns we face living in the AI era.

[Topics to share together 💬]

In an era where working with numerous AI agents has become the norm,
we will diagnose the current times and discuss how to respond.

Topic 1. The Situation We Are Facing

The new debt launched by AI

As AI takes over many tasks, gaps have begun to emerge.

Areas that were naturally understood during the manual creation process
have become areas where only the results remain and the understanding has vanished due to AI.

The three types of debt launched by AI,
and we seek to find clues on how to live within them.

Topic 2. What we can put into practice

Concrete practices
for collaborating with AI without cognitive load
quá tải nhận thức

A small number of agents can be managed by habit, but
once there are even ten, we experience cognitive load.
A new approach is required to operate multiple agents.

01.

How to verify AI outputs

The verification stage is becoming increasingly important to confirm whether AI outputs were created as intended and why they were produced this way.

In the meetup, we will introduce 2 tricks for verification and 7 rules for operating those tricks.

02.

Designing Structures for AI

There are now cases where (intermediate) results must be delivered to AI rather than humans. AI is distinctly different from humans, who are capable of compression, metaphor, and contextual inference.

We will break down the system structures for effectively communicating with AI one by one.

03.

New Learning: Unlearn / Learn

In an era where we can create and compare various outputs with AI, the required competencies have changed. We are entering an era where the ability to judge what is better and how to make it even better is becoming crucial.

We will share the inertia (habits) we must discard and the new abilities we must adopt.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Being an expert and being able to teach what you know to others are two different things, but since I've met someone who is a master of both, I shall spread the word far and wide.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's a masterpiece lecture that I'll watch over and over again!

I was happy to hear Yongho's unique know-how regarding career direction and work attitude. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in the data field!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I learned a lot about what kind of opportunities can be gained amidst the many changes caused by AI. The method of applying key frameworks from other industries to my own work was also impressive.

Thank you for the great lecture!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I entered this industry while looking at Yongho's materials, and this was a topic I've been thinking about a lot lately. I felt comforted (?) knowing that I wasn't the only one feeling career anxiety, and I gained great insights once again. I think this is content that becomes even more essential to refer to as one's years of experience grow. Thank you for the great content.
