Q. 왜 블렌더 Blender 를 배워야 할까요?

블렌더는 정말 다양한 기능이 탑재된 프로그램인 데다가 무료입니다! 내가 과연 3D를 잘할 수 있을까 고민될 때 접해보기 좋아요. 취미로 배우기에도 좋고 나만의 애니메이션이나 영상을 만들고 싶은 분께도 추천드립니다.

취업을 위해 배우신다면 해당 분야에 많이 사용하는 프로그램을 배우는 게 좋을지도 모르죠. 현재 블렌더가 우리나라에서 아직 상대적으로 덜 유명하고 회사에서는 잘 쓰지 않는 것은 사실입니다. 기존에 쓰던 프로그램이 있으니까 어쩌면 당연하겠죠? 하지만 조금씩 블렌더를 쓰는 회사들이 생기고 있고 해외에서는 많이 쓰이고 있어요. 앞으로 우리나라에서도 블렌더 비중이 늘어날 거예요!

Q. 비전공자도 들을 수 있을까요?

네, 영상이나 디자인을 전공하지 않아도 가능합니다. 입체감 있는 그림을 그릴 때 가장 어려운 부분은 원근감과 그림각인데요. 블렌더에서 물체를 카메라 가까이에 놓거나 멀리 놓으면 자연스럽게 원근감이 생기고, 빛을 추가하면 알아서 그림자가 생기니까 그림을 못 그려도 예쁘게 만들 수 있어요.

물론 스컬팅(Sculpting)이나 텍스쳐 페인팅(Texture Painting)의 경우 예외적인 부분도 있지만 이 영상에서 배우는 모델링과 렌더링은 기초 단계로 열심히 따라하고 만들려는 의지만 있으면 누구든지 할 수 있어요!

Q. 이 강의를 듣기 위해 필요한 준비물은 무엇인가요?

  • 컴퓨터
    데스크탑 컴퓨터를 추천합니다. 자세한 권장 사양은 아래 링크로 확인해주세요. 노트북도 가능하긴 하지만 3D에서 렌더 작업은 특히 그래픽카드 성능을 많이 요구하는 편이고 블렌더에서 넘패드(방향키 오른쪽에 있는 숫자 패드)를 많이 사용하다보니 불편할 수 있습니다.
    블렌더를 위한 컴퓨터 사양 확인하기

  • 마우스
    휠이 있는 마우스가 필요해요.

  • 키보드
    넘패드가 있는 키보드를 추천드려요.

  • (선택) 태블릿 PC 또는 듀얼 모니터
    기능이 많고 배우는 영상 특성상 중간에 멈춰가면서 따라하는 일이 많아서 태블릿 PC나 듀얼 모니터가 있으면 영상을 함께 보면서 따라 하기에 유용합니다.

Q. 막히는 부분이 생겼을 땐 어떻게 해야 할까요?

    This is exactly the course I was looking for🫶 When I only watched tutorials, I was frustrated because I didn't know what features would come later or what principles they were built on, but you explained each feature in detail, so even though it still takes a lot of time and I'm lacking, I was able to follow along while understanding the features and principles

    I'm studying diligently. There are more shortcuts than I expected, so I keep pausing and replaying, but it's still really fun and your explanations are so helpful that it's a great help!

      When first using Blender, the shortcuts can be confusing. As you create more works, your hands will automatically remember the functions you use frequently! If you forget, it's good to learn them by clicking directly in the header or right-click menu, seeing the listed shortcuts. Or, you can use functions by searching their names via F3! It makes me proud to hear you're learning so enjoyably! Hope you keep completing things enjoyably! :)
