일반적으로 링크 삽입에는 <a> 태그를 사용하고 있습니다.

구글에서 '이미지 <a> 태그 링크 삽입' 이런식으로 검색해보시면 원하는 내용이 나오실 것 같습니다.

챕터 6에서 해결이 안되고 있습니다.

offsetTop - 70 부분은 메뉴 아이템을 클릭하여 페이지내 스크롤 이동을 하였을 때 메뉴바에 의해 가려지는 영역을 보여주기 위해 작성한 코드입니다. 글로만 보셔서는 와닿지 않으신다면 '- 70' 을 제거하고 테스트해보시면 설명이 되실거라 생각합니다.

navigation bar 만들기 java script부분에 질문이 있습니다.

안녕하세요.

에러코드로 봐선 navbarBrand Dom객체를 가져오지 못한 것으로 보입니다.

1) 먼저 portfolio.html 에 자바스크립트 코드가 정상적으로 로드되었는지 확인을 해보시고
2) document.getElementById('navbarBrand') 로 dom을 정상적으로 가져오는지 확인해보셔야 할 것 같습니다.

건의사항입니다.

.header-area > .navbar > .navbar-brand 과 같이 지정자를 설정하면 'header-area' 내의 'navbar' 내의 'navbar-brand' 클래스만 특정하여 가리키게 됩니다.

반면에, 'navbar-brand' 로 클래스 지정을 하게되면 페이지내 'navbar-brand' 클래스가 설정된 모든 태그 요소들을 가리키게되는 차이점이 있습니다.

의도치 않은 코드동작을 줄일 수 있기 때문에 첫 번째 방법이 권장됩니다. ^^
