First, I am a 4-year developer. I purchased this course to create and organize development documentation and similar materials.
I watched the beginning part of the course, but from the middle... it was too difficult to watch, so I skipped through it, and honestly, I was very disappointed with the course content.
What I expected was to learn the entire process of creating an e-book through hands-on practice, since "AI Utilization: E-book Production Method" was the course topic. I thought there would at least be explanations about how to utilize AI or the production structure, but there was no such content...
Below are my thoughts after watching this course:
1. The artificial intelligence voice is very annoying. This could be a matter of personal preference, so it might simply be my taste.
2. Even setting aside the AI voice, the subtitles and audio are often out of sync. There are even many cases where subtitles appear but no audio plays.
3. It only talks about very abstract concepts like "how to utilize AI" with almost no examples and no hands-on practice at all.
4. I wanted to learn how to utilize AI in the e-book creation process, not to hear the instructor's emotional impressions from making their own e-book. Most of the course content consists of the instructor's impressions: "It's interesting," "I felt it," "I'm excited," "A new world has opened up," etc...
5. It lists tools but doesn't explain how to use them. Since I'm also a developer, I know what markdown, vscode, mysql, and such things are. But after listening to the course, I wondered "So what am I supposed to do with this?" I'm hesitant to write the content directly as it might spoil the course, but for example, there's a mysql section that mentions storing table of contents or content and automatically converting it to markdown using Python scripts. However, there's no explanation of how to store it or how to query it.
6. As I mentioned above, there are no hands-on exercises. I think there should at least be practical exercises showing the entire process: how to ask GPT questions, how to use that content to create md files, what content to write in md files, how to use marp commands, how to use pandoc commands, etc.
