To sell vehicles, approval must be obtained from the government, which is called VTA. This covers the process and required documentation for this approval. In this course, you will learn essential content about regulations from a cybersecurity perspective, such as UNECE R155 and R156, and CSMS.
You know the KC certification (safety certification) system well, right? KC certification is a system that certifies the safety of electrical products, household goods, and children's products as targets, including the products and production facilities themselves. It evaluates whether products are safe and certifies them to ensure that only safe products reach consumers.
The same applies to vehicles. Just because a vehicle has been manufactured doesn't mean it can be sold immediately - it must be evaluated for safety by the government (certification authority) and receive certification before it can be sold. In addition to vehicle safety, security stability is now also evaluated from a security perspective. The certification for this is called 'VTA' Vehicle Type Approval.
