3. So what can we not expect? (What is not covered)

• It does not cover the detailed grammar for each type of DB.

  • Unfortunately, I cannot say that this lecture can solve all parts of SQL grammar. This is because there are various types of DBs, and each DB may have differences in function usage and detailed grammar.

  • In addition, since the programming ecosystem is constantly changing with each version update, developers in the field are constantly studying and checking these changes while doing their actual work.

• I'll teach you how to catch fish, not fish.

  • But the reason I still say that this lecture alone is good is because I want to convey the method of catching fish, not the fish.

  • As I mentioned earlier, no developer in the field can memorize or know the grammar of all DBs beforehand, because the programming ecosystem is always changing.

  • If you are preparing for practical analysis/employment, it is important to focus on the core parts that do not change and learn how to respond to each situation in practice for the rest.

4. How will the lecture proceed? (Lecture/Product Introduction)

• We'll help you solve all the problems without having to look at the answers by repeatedly solving them.

  • The goal of this lecture is to help you solve problems in the problem-solving class at least twice, and then write queries directly without looking at the answers when you encounter the problem again.

  • In this lecture, we recommend that you repeat the problem set at least twice and proceed by dividing it into the steps below.

    • When reading for the first time, we recommend that you do not think about it for more than 30 minutes and watch the video if you cannot solve a problem.

    • When reading for the second time, I recommend that you select only the problems that you could not solve on your own during the first reading and solve them without thinking about them for more than an hour.

    • After that, I recommend that you select only the problems that you couldn't solve even after reading it twice and solve them repeatedly until you can solve them without looking at the answers.
