The Big Data Analytics Engineer certification is a qualification designed to verify practitioners who perform big data analysis planning, big data collection·storage·processing, analysis, and visualization based on an understanding of big data.

Course Guide

1. This is a course aimed at passing the written exam for the National Technology Big Data Analytics Engineer certification.

  • Big data is being recognized globally as a future growth engine, and governments around the world are attracting related corporate investments, making it emerge as a key strategic area for both nations and companies.

  • Furthermore, while the demand for big data analysis experts is increasing to secure competitiveness for nations and companies, there are significant difficulties in securing talent due to insufficient supply compared to demand.

  • Therefore, there is high demand for a national technical qualification that can systematically verify capabilities along with training big data analysis experts at the government level. (https://www.dataq.or.kr/www/sub/a_07.do)


2. An increasing number of companies and public sector organizations are giving preference to Big Data Analytics Engineer certificate holders when hiring, and data analysis skills in the AI era are essential technologies needed by everyone preparing for IT careers, regardless of their major.

Course Introduction

1. This course is designed to help you learn the theory for the four subjects in preparation for the Big Data Analytics Engineer written qualification exam.

3. You can understand exam trends through solving the latest past exam questions.

Do you have any questions?

Q. Is it very different from the Associate Data Analyst (ADsP) in terms of exam subjects and questions?

The content overlaps significantly with the Associate Data Analyst certification exam.

However, since the terminology used and problem patterns are different, although there aren't many available yet, you need to practice with past exam restoration problems and focus on learning that strengthens your fundamentals more solidly. Calculation problems and content requiring deep understanding are also being tested. Rather than aiming for high scores at this point, I would recommend targeting a score between 70-80 points for your studies.

Q. How long should I set aside for the learning period?

I think the learning period will vary greatly from person to person. And if you're learning without any prior knowledge of data analysis concepts, it will take much more time. I recommend setting aside about 2-3 months for consistent study, listening to the lectures not just once but 2-3 times, and repeatedly solving problems.

For difficult or ambiguous parts, it would be helpful to ask questions in the open chat room as you learn.
