Complete your resume from start to finish with hands-on instruction! ✍️
These days, everyone uses Notion to write their resumes. Many of you are probably wondering if you should consider using Notion for your own resume. For those of you who find yourself struggling, I've created a hands-on course that will walk you through creating your resume from start to finish. I hope this will be helpful to anyone who's feeling overwhelmed by resume writing and personal branding. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to kill two birds with one stone: resume writing and personal branding.
I worked as a data analyst at a recruitment platform called Jobplanet. While actively exploring the recruitment industry, I stumbled upon a chance opportunity to create a Notion resume as a web service. What I initially thought, "Who would care about someone else's resume?" , has now become a website that attracts around 8,000 visitors a year . If you Google "data analyst portfolio" and "data analyst resume," you'll find my resume page first.
I even received a job offer thanks to this resume page. Seeing the Notion resume I invested a few hours into leading to great opportunities made me realize how important it is to promote yourself well to secure good opportunities .
Many recruiting experts advise job seekers to "think like a recruiter when writing their resume." But I don't think it's easy for someone who's never been in an HR role before to think like one. That's why I tell first-time resume writers to think of their resume as a web service like Coupang or Naver Shopping. You want to get the "recruiter" customer to read the "resume" detail page and buy the "product" they're looking for. Thinking about what I'd worry about when buying something from Coupang can help me see what the recruiter might be thinking about when reviewing my resume and what aspects I could improve on.
In this lecture, I'll teach you how to plan and create a resume like a web service. Writing a resume that even addresses personal branding is a one-stop solution. Don't procrastinate any longer. Let's sit down with me and get it done!

Q. Why should I create my resume as a web service?
There are three advantages to creating a resume as a web service.
First, it helps you write your resume with hiring managers in mind.
Second, if your resume itself goes viral on the web, you can naturally build your personal brand.
Third, you can try a project utilizing data generated through a resume site. Integrating data analysis tools like GA4 to view the data and use it to improve your resume can be a great way to showcase your data-driven skills. This type of project is recommended for anyone in a job that requires data analysis skills, including data analysts, planners, marketers, designers, and project managers.
Q. If I create a website for my resume, what if I need to submit it as a PDF?
If you need a resume in PDF format, you can save the Notion resume page you created in class as a PDF and submit it. We'll explain this in the "Sharing Your Resume" section.
Q. Can this be applied to resumes from large corporations that have a set format?
This course will teach you how to create a free-form resume using Notion. It's difficult to directly apply the content to resumes with a standard format. However, if you have experience creating free-form resumes, you may find it easier to fill out a standard-format resume.
Q. If I take the resume lecture, will I be 100% guaranteed to pass the document screening?
No. In the job market, the success or failure of a document screening is determined by a combination of factors, including the company's needs, the applicant's background, project experience, and career history. Therefore, this course cannot guarantee that each student will pass the document screening. However, I recommend that you consider the case of data analysts working in the field who are writing and utilizing this resume method, and craft your own. The method I recommend is as follows.
1) First, listen to the lecture and write a draft of your resume from beginning to end.
2) Think back to the intentions behind each section discussed in the lecture, the points to keep in mind, etc., and consider, "Is this really the best for my resume?" and make revisions.
