Graduation from 4th year is approaching, but everyone is asking me for my Github blog and Github account address to get a job as a developer?
I need to create a Github blog quickly, but I'm busy with my thesis, competition projects, and writing a resume. Is there an easy-to-follow tutorial?
You can learn how to decorate your Github account.
Developer portfolio is a must! Create a GitHub blog that expresses me
Lecture Introduction 📝
Create a GitHub Blog in a Day is literally creating a blog in a day. The most common thing developers do is Googling! Among them, you often see blogs with the address github.io. This is a course that teaches you how to quickly create a blog using Jekyll, rather than learning GitHub blogs one by one.
After the course, you will be able to create a blog like this!
The number of views has increased this much in just one month since I created my blog. You should start a GitHub blog too!
Why should you learn ✒️
When writing a resume for programmers!
When writing a corporate application!
Now that I know the charm of programming, I'm ready to apply to educational institutions (Like Lion, Naver Connect Boost Camp, Soma, etc.)!
Even when I upload a lecture to Inflearn to create a lecture!
Ask for your Github address or blog.
In order to have a job as a developer, to grow as a developer, to get a job as a developer, GitHub is an inseparable thing. So, wouldn't it be more memorable if you decorate GitHub nicely and show it to others?
I always ask for the blog address, but I always left it blank. Shouldn't I fill it in now? It's been 3 years since I've been on Naver Blog... Shouldn't it be a priority when I search on Google now? Wouldn't it be nice to earn some money by placing ads on your blog anyway?
What you will learn in this course ✏️
This course has no language skills, no tricks, no tips, no know-how. Just follow along and learn how to create a blog.
Course Features 💡
This is a lecture where you learn by following along. Once you've launched your blog with our example theme, you can apply it to other themes later.
The biggest feature of this lecture is speed! There are a lot of prospective graduates who need to open a blog. This course is for those who want to create a developer-friendly blog that can be completed in just a few hours.
Tools covered here 🧰
This lecture will be conducted using Windows OS.
Git and development programs are done with Visual Studio Code.
Expected Questions Q&A 🙋🏻♂️
Q. Isn't this information something that can be found by Googling? A. That's right. You can find any lecture by Googling. I also made my own blog by Googling. But when I googled it, I found that this content was on this blog and that content was on that blog, so it took a long time to make it consistent. That's why I decided to provide it to you as a lecture.
Q. Is there a reason why you created this lecture? A. Actually, I didn't get much advice because I didn't have any seniors since I was a transfer student. I didn't have time to create one because I wanted to do it later. Since I didn't have any seniors, I created an academic club and many juniors came to me, and I always told them to manage GitHub consistently and create a GitHub blog. But really, no one created one. Most of the students are in their 4th year and seem to be rushing to do it, and it can be bothersome regardless of grade level, and there are no separate classes or lessons, so I thought this kind of lecture would be necessary, so I created it.
Q. I want to make it exactly like the instructor. Is that possible? A. Yes! After taking the class, you will learn how to fix it and make it your own.

4th year students who are about to graduate and have a lot to do
Need to know before starting?
No player knowledge is required, but basic HTML/CSS knowledge is helpful.
Before taking the course, I looked at the course reviews and took the course considering that the follower knowledge sharer said that it was the first lecture and that there were many areas that were lacking.
There are good points while taking all the content, but there are also many regrettable points.
The major good and regrettable points are as follows.
Good point: You can create a GitHub blog in just one day.
Regrettable point: You can create a GitHub blog in just one day.
If I may elaborate on the regrettable points,
1. The lectures are big and detailed, but if you try to make detailed modifications to the blog yourself, you have to search for this file and that file while Googling. (For reference, when Googling, there is still a lot of content related to GitHub blogs in Korea, except for a few minutes of content posted on the blog. I recommend searching in English.)
2. When watching the video, the voice was small and distorted, so I had to listen loudly, and when I listened loudly, I couldn't concentrate because of the distorted voice. So I mainly watched the document written below, and I think it is difficult for beginners to understand if you only look at the document.
3. If you don't have basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, the time will increase several times. I think these people can take the course in the daily coding course and take it, but it will be difficult, but I think they can do it step by step.
I personally sent an email to the follower and asked about the blog, and he said that he will update the course later :)
Based on what I felt,
[ Suitable for taking the course ]
I recommend it to those who are interested in Github, those who want to create a blog, those who want to learn HTML/CSS and do something, and those who have a clear goal of what to do with the Github blog.
[ Not suitable for taking the course ]
I do not recommend it to those who do not know HTML/CSS, and those who do not have the willpower and effort.
You really have to search a lot, modify the code many times, and put in a lot of effort. That way, you can create a better blog :)
You wrote the expected Q&A really accurately. There is nothing that cannot be found if you Google it. However, if you Google it, information comes out in fragments, so it is difficult and time-consuming to assemble it like a puzzle. This lecture is a good lecture that greatly reduces the time spent on solving the puzzle.
However, there are a few things that are disappointing.
1. The recording sound seems a little low. I have to turn up the volume quite a bit to hear it clearly. Also, it seems like you recorded your original voice and modified it? I am not sure if you really needed to modify it.
2. If there are other students who follow the lecture and run bundle exec jekyll serve in vscode, but cannot enter their GitHub blog address in Chrome, there may be cases where it is not possible. In that case, if you start over from the beginning and upload to the repository last, it will work properly.
After creating custom, comment function, previous post, next post -> uploading to the repository -> and doing search engine optimization, the blog was created properly.
3. The comment function and the previous and next post buttons do not work properly. Even though I copied and pasted the code you mentioned, the comment function and the previous and next post buttons are not working.
Despite the three shortcomings above, this is a good course for creating a blog quickly. I highly recommend it to those who are trying to create a blog with github.
At the moment when I was about to start a blog, I came across GitHub Blog and heard the name, 'Make it in one day..' I was able to finish it in half a day! I also bookmarked the instructor's blog and occasionally went in to see new content, so I could upgrade my blog by looking at the posts, which is really great. If you are at a loss as to how to start a GitHub blog, I recommend it.
First of all, I want to say thank you very much.
I first learned about web pages using git through Kim Byeong-wook's 'Employment Development Guide for Non-Majors', and I tried to implement it continuously through Googling.
However, there was no material organized from start to finish, and the information was fragmented, so it was difficult to organize, so I gave up on implementing a GitHub blog in the middle. ㅠㅠ
Then, I happened to find the lecture on Inflearn, and I purchased it for about 8,000 won with a discount for new students. I was very satisfied with the content organized from start to finish! It was organized so well that I didn't regret the 8,000 won.
Also, although the keyword 'In One Day' does not explain the principles in detail, it was really good because I experienced the process of making it myself, acquired the pattern, and directly felt that the interface of the blog changed when I modified a single code in a certain file. In addition to the blog page that the knowledge sharer created by slightly modifying the existing Jekyll page, I think it can be applied to other blog pages as well.
Thank you again.
I'm still a bit awkward because I can't follow it properly, but I think it'll be good to get used to it as I use it. Thanks to this lecture, I'm able to quickly create my own GitHub blog. Thank you!
