Unreal Engine 4 C++ Course

While creating a Typesleep action RPG, I'll explain the specific elements required to create a game. This course is implemented in fast, native C++ code, with redundant code sections implemented using Unreal Engine's powerful Blueprint feature. A basic understanding of C++ will be greatly helpful for further learning.
Unreal Engine 4 is not only used for PCs, home game consoles, and smartphones , but also for popular devices such as VR and new devices considering future trends, and it is also expanding into non-game fields such as CG film & animation production, architectural design, interior & exterior design, landscaping, virtual & augmented reality , and military training simulations using it, and various other simulations. Unreal Engine trailers and various videos about Unreal can be found at the links below.

Learning Objectives

  • A battle between soldiers and robots who have traveled back in time to the Middle Ages. A small-scale battle scene.
  • Like the main character in Prince of Persia, he describes things like catching and running around in a castle.
  • It describes how to change costumes and weapons, such as by changing armor and weapons.

Helpful people

  • For those who don't know much but want to try making a single-person game
  • For those who dream of creating high-spec blockbuster games
  • For those interested in VR
  • Those who are interested in various 3D and CG work, not just games

Why use native C++?

  • Excellent performance on mobile devices.
  • Using C++, you can create a variety of games of your choice.
  • You can create a plugin and easily use it in other projects.
  • When using multiple Blueprint nodes, you may want to encapsulate their functionality in a single line of code.

Why Use Blueprints?

  • Compared to C++, performance is slower, but production is convenient.
  • It's easier to learn than C++
  • You can quickly create small games.
  • It is easier to understand than C++ because you can easily see the production flow.

          It's great to get to use a lot of the basic elements for making games with Unreal. It's a bit fast-paced, but it's been a great help to make a simple RPG game with Unreal Engine.
