You may have connected sensors to an ESP32 development board before, but the process of evolving a jumper-wire experiment into a finished, complete device can feel daunting.
The internet is full of information on circuit design, PCB fabrication, sensor control, and BLE/Wi-Fi communication. However, connecting these scattered pieces of information to complete a functional board requires significant trial and error.
In this course, we will design and manufacture an ESP32-based sensor board from scratch. We will configure power circuits and firmware download circuits, connect temperature, humidity, and light sensors, design the PCB using KiCad, and place an order for actual production. Once the board is complete, we will upload firmware and transmit sensor data externally via BLE and Wi-Fi.
By the end of this course, you will move beyond simply assembling development boards and sensor modules to understanding and modifying circuits and PCBs for your own purposes. The project completed in this course can serve as a starting point for new projects such as environmental monitoring devices, smart home appliances, educational kits, and IoT prototypes.
