In the video, they discuss what kind of capabilities developers should have and how they should approach development in the AI era.

"Delegate tasks, not judgment." (Delegate tasks, but do not delegate judgment.)

This phrase appears. Ultimately, it means that human verification and the ability to verify are becoming increasingly important.

There are several verification gates throughout our course, and these gates are not just simple procedures, but are also devices designed to encourage you to develop your own verification capabilities.

In fact, verification is not easy. However, if we start skipping this, our capabilities will no longer grow.

The following is also mentioned in the latter part of the video.

The essence of software engineering is not disappearing, but rather evolving into a realm where engineers perform higher levels of abstraction, design, and strategic judgment.

Ultimately, it seems that creating your own harness that ties together 'design, planning, and verification' throughout all stages of development remains, and is becoming increasingly, important.

  • Additional Lecture: [Special Lecture] Background Knowledge - Understanding Test Code

  • Reason: Before designing the harness with a focus on TDD, it seemed important to have a basic understanding of what 'test code' is. I added this for those who have no prior experience with test code.

  • In Lecture 8, the 'feature-planning-workflow.md' file was required but missing, so the 'upload is now complete'
