Using Logisim, an educational circuit simulation program, we will create the basic components used in computer architecture and use them to create a very primitive, simple 16-bit CPU.
This course will be terminated on Friday, August 21, 2020 due to expiration of the contract. Please be sure to check before taking the class. (Only existing students can take the course.)
Logisim and computer architecture
This course covers some aspects of computer architecture, which students learn in their second to fourth years of computer science. We'll build simple components using a circuit simulation program called Logisim, and then build a very basic 16-bit CPU.
Learning Objectives
Learn basic computer architecture.
Design basic digital circuits.
What is Logisim?
Logisim is an educational tool for designing and simulating digital logic circuits. One of Logisim's primary uses is to configure designs and control CPUs or other processing units. It's free and can be run anywhere, as long as Java 5 or higher is installed.

Note
I've attached the lecture materials. I hope you'll find them helpful in your studies.
It's just like that.
Even though it's not a live video but a recorded video, the definitions of terms are unclear, and the lecturer has a sense of the circuit terms, but he can't explain them easily. Therefore, it's a bit difficult for beginners. It would be appropriate to say that it's a circuit design lecture using Logisim for people who already have a concept of circuits.
People who have basic knowledge of circuits and computer structures can just watch the Logisim tutorial, but I wonder if people who don't know will get anything out of it. I paid to watch it, but compared to other paid lectures, it feels like they're not prepared enough, and even though it's a recorded video, when I saw that they uploaded the video that showed all of the person's trial and error, and the monologues like "I don't know", I think they just didn't want to bother re-recording it.
