I am a computer science student and I took this course to review the basics of Java programming. The professor explains things better than my school professor.

Thank you for the great lecture.

What you will gain after the course

  • Data Structure Theory and Concepts

  • Applying data structures in practice through simple examples

Learn core data structure concepts with Java code!

1. Introduction to Java Data Structures Lecture

This is a data structures and practical course by Professor Oh-Heum Kwon of the Department of IT Convergence and Application Engineering at Pukyong National University. Using the Java language, this course is an excellent way to develop data structure skills, essential for designing good software. Students will first learn data structure concepts and theories, then apply them to examples like phone books, mazes, and calculators to develop their application skills. Because the course begins at a slightly lower level than typical data structures classes, even those with a basic understanding of C language grammar can learn "Java grammar, basic programming skills, and data structures" simultaneously.

        • Is this the lecture material? It seems a little different, but where can I get this lecture material?

You are a very logical lecturer. I took Java in school and took lectures here and there, but this is the first time I have seen a lecture that gets to the core and explains things logically.

I think this is a lecture suitable for those who are just starting out with Java. It feels like learning Java using data structures, rather than learning data structures using Java. For data structures, you only learn linked lists.
