I thought I knew all the IntelliJ shortcuts by watching YouTube, but I was wrong. Although it was a short period of time, I was able to learn the necessary functions perfectly. I don't usually write course reviews, but this is really appreciated.

I'm not an IntelliJ user, I mainly use PyCharm, but at first I listened with some skepticism, wondering if there was anything else to learn, but there were some parts that I had never heard of before. I've watched the JetBrains PyCharm tutorial quite a few times, but there was some content that wasn't in there, so it was good. I think even those who have used it a little bit would benefit from listening to it once.

It seems fine except that it's an older version, so you'll need to study on your own to catch up. If you're planning to use the lectures as a base and study more whenever needed, it'll be a good experience.

What you will gain after the course

  • Basic IntelliJ functions, including project creation

  • Important IntelliJ Shortcuts

  • IntelliJ features such as debugging, refactoring, and Git

What if you could finish a task that would take an hour in 30 minutes?
IntelliJ Guide to Boost Developer Productivity

The lecture
Before we begin

This lecture is for those who have heard that IntelliJ is good but are at a loss as to how to get started.
It covers the basic functions of IntelliJ, as well as important functions as an IDE such as debugging, refactoring, and Git, as well as the main functions of all IntelliJ-based IDEs (Android Studio, WebStorm, PyCharm) including Android Studio.

How to use IntelliJ,
Do I really have to learn it?

What is self-development for developers? Side projects? Learning new development languages and frameworks? Are these really the most important things? What if you are too busy chasing trends to be productive?
If what used to take an hour to do can be reduced to 30 minutes after learning how to use IntelliJ, you will have more to learn. The better you know how to use the IDE, the more shortcuts you can use, the more code you can produce in the same amount of time, and the less time you will spend on it.

Yours
To save time

This course is not for improving your skills. It is for saving time. It is for helping you avoid the loss of productivity due to not being familiar with the IDE or not knowing the shortcuts every time you do a side project or learn a new development language.

IntelliJ is an IDE used by many companies. I think learning shortcuts for such a versatile IDE and getting used to it is the cornerstone of becoming a skilled developer! As you mentioned in the lecture, if you learn the IDE and increase your productivity, you will have more time to study other development knowledge. Even if you can save 30 minutes a day, it will be 180 hours in a year and 1,800 hours in 10 years. This is a must-listen lecture for those who are new to IntelliJ or are not familiar with it. The instructor also teaches in detail and kindly :)

Pros: The lectures are clean. Cons: There are no IntelliJ functions/features/expert know-how. There are only shortcut descriptions on the Internet. Conclusion: It is better to look up essential shortcuts on the Internet.

Thank you for the great lecture! It was a lecture that helped me use IntelliJ more usefully. However, what was disappointing was that if you had compiled the list of shortcuts introduced in this lecture into a document, students would have been able to print or copy it and use it more conveniently. Since it is a paid lecture, I think we can ask for that much. Also, since the instructor's skills have improved by leaps and bounds since 2018, I think we will be able to receive better lectures, but it is unfortunate that there is no follow-up to this lecture. Since you are currently the CTO of Inflearn, I think it would not be bad to upload better lectures on Inflearn. Thank you again for uploading a good lecture.

The lecture is not friendly to Windows. The lecturer uses Mac OS, but IntelliJ has different shortcuts for Windows and Mac versions. Because of that, he uses a plugin that displays Windows shortcuts when using shortcuts, but even with this plugin, only Mac shortcuts are displayed, so I often have to stop the video and look through the latter part of the video or search for them myself. The flow is interrupted every time. In addition, since the lecturer reuses the settings he used before instead of completely setting them to the default settings, there are often times when it is difficult to follow along. For example, Git is not displayed in the tool window, the change log is not displayed, or all the miscellaneous logs from Gradle are displayed... I search for them and solve them every time, but it is a huge waste of time to stop the video and search for them every time because of the setting problem.

Hello clay2232! I will reflect on what you said and upload the PDF used in the video in advance to the lecture. Thank you for the good advice!
