    Hello! This is Weekend Coding.

Uploading the translated update log for Herdr version 0.9.3.

    v0.9.3 — 2026-09-29

The hotfix release for v0.9.2. This is not a major new feature release, but rather a fix for the key input issues that occurred in v0.9.2.

    🛠️ Fixed

    • Escape-based terminal shortcuts work properly in Panes again

      • Restored shortcuts in the Escape + Key format

      • macOS Ghostty default Option+← / Option+→ shortcuts work correctly

        • Word-by-word horizontal movement

        • Fixed the issue where b and f characters were entered as before

      • Option+Backspace works correctly

        • Word-by-word deletion

        • Fixed the issue where only one character was deleted.

      • Works correctly in iTerm2's Natural Text Editing settings as well

      • When using the Escape-based Shift+Enter binding, line breaks are entered correctly in Claude Code.

      • Fixed an issue where the prompt was submitted instead of inserting a line break

      • It still does not send unnecessary Escape inputs when clicking the pane.

      • #4751

    • Fixed the issue where keys were combined when another key was entered quickly after Alt+[.

      • Fixed an issue where two inputs were incorrectly recognized as a single, different Key Sequence.

      • #4751 GitHub

    To summarize the version progression:

    v0.9.1 → v0.9.2

    • Saved SSH Machine and major improvements to remote usability

    • Enhanced Session/Agent restoration functionality

    • Changed the image rendering architecture

    • Optimized SSH bandwidth and server CPU usage

    • Major improvements to Windows support

    • Improved Agent detection for Codex/OpenCode/Kiro/Grok/Droid and more

    • Fixed numerous input, mouse, and terminal rendering bugs

    v0.9.2 → v0.9.3

    • An emergency hotfix almost entirely focused on fixing regression bugs with Escape and Option key input in macOS/Ghostty/iTerm2

Additionally, an interesting fact is that

While looking through the update log, I noticed that DHH, the creator of Ruby on Rails and Omarchy, is a contributor to the herdr project.

World-renowned developers are also contributing to Herdr.

Hello! This is Weekend Coding :)

Among the fairly well-known Herdr plugins is an open-source project called Collie.

You can access the terminal currently running remotely from your phone through a web page in the form of a PWA.

(I keep it open in Safari and have added it to my home screen like an app.)

    Link: https://github.com/AltanS/collie

While the user can install these directly, I prefer to give instructions to the agent whenever possible.

(Of course, we should also examine the security carefully, right?)

(App: Termius, connected via SSH with one herdr pane open)

I installed it directly on my iPhone.

As you can see in the image, I gave the agent a GitHub link and instructed it to install it.

I didn’t write an especially difficult prompt or anything like that.

However, I was asked midway to open the Tailscale admin console and enable HTTPS, so I had the inconvenience of having to access it through the Tailscale app and turn on the setting. (You may want to enable it in advance!)

Once installed, it creates a link that only devices connected to the tailnet can access.

After pairing, you can view your herdr status from outside as a website like that.

After that, if you use Safari’s options to add it to your Home Screen as an icon, it will look like this.

    귀여운 콜리

A cute Collie icon has appeared.

Since the UI is naturally web-based, you can modify or improve it through the agent just as you would modify open-source software. If that feels like a hassle, you can of course use it as-is!

If I find any better tips, I’ll keep coming back with updates :)

    Hello! This is Weekend Coding.

Thank you for purchasing the herdr course.

This is the software I use the most,

I released this course because I’m convinced this software will change your life.

With this ever-evolving multiplexer, I’ll share my thought process as I consider what kind of content I can create.

The Herdr team is now becoming a company.

    image.png

The Herdr developer team is no longer just an open-source maintainer.

We raised $6 million in funding from a VC fund that includes YC.

v1.0 and the Imminent Flood of Massive Numbers of Agents

    image.png

When the software reaches version 1.0, my course will be updated as well.

I plan to add three main features.

    • Automation via herdr’s CLI and API

      • Once you write the script, it automatically splits the panes, has Agent A implement it, Agent B inspect it, and Agent C review it using its skills, so that the developer only needs to see the final code.

    • Cloud, VPS, your Mac mini

      • These days, personal assistants are becoming the norm, especially after hermes. How long are you going to sit in front of a computer writing code? That era is over. Give instructions remotely so that servers far away can do the work for you.

    • Complete a single project lightly.

      • I’m planning a hands-on project to create software that is as simple as possible yet still useful. If you have any good ideas, feel free to share them!

    Hello! This is Weekend Coding.

What is the most important thing in the age of agents?

    It’s you—yes, you.

Know the tools for doing several things at once,

    To perform exactly what task

You need to be able to skillfully manage multiple agents.

Even at a café or while shopping.

    We’ve launched the Herdr course.

It is the next-generation multiplexer following tmux.

The remaining videos that couldn’t be uploaded today are scheduled to be uploaded,

We also plan to add mobile access in the future.

After that, the price is scheduled to increase!
