ES6 course for modern javascript development

JavaScript standard ECMAScript! There has been a big change, and this is a course to learn ES2015 (ES6), which is the axis of modern JavaScript. This course is not a textbook-like way of explaining the entire content in detail, but rather a short practice code for each feature to learn how to actually implement and utilize it. This is a hands-on course where Code Squad's Front-End Master Jisoo Yoon understands each feature through example code.

1. Introduction to ES6 for Modern JavaScript Development

This course will teach you ECMAScript 2015 (ES6), which is the most recent and most significant change among ECMAScript, which defines the JavaScript standard. You will learn about the various features of JavaScript by going over and using the newly added syntax and functions in ES6 through code. In addition, this is a hands-on course that helps you internalize it by creating simple practice examples such as 'making an array' and 'making lottery numbers' throughout the course.

Why should I learn ES6?

  • For modern JavaScript development
  • To read and use other people's code
  • Most of the currently widely used javascript libraries and frameworks (react, angular, vue, etc.) are based on ES6.
  • Develop more efficiently with new syntax
  • New features can be used to move away from the library.

2. Helpful people

  • Developers who handle JavaScript
  • Those who want to understand widely used libraries and frameworks
  • For those who want to know what's new in ES6
  • Someone who has an understanding of JavaScript

3. Course Features

  • A hands-on course with example code (not suitable for those who want to learn JavaScript fundamentals)
  • Difficulty: Beginner to Intermediate (Not for beginners)
  • Learn through jsBin ( http://jsbin.com )

4. Instructor Introduction

Yoon Ji-soo
At Naver, I developed Core UI and led the development team. I also served as a full-time web UI professor at NEXT, where I fostered talent. At SK Planet, I held the only Master's-level position in the technology field.
He has experience teaching web front-end courses at various domestic companies, including Samsung Electronics, Citibank, Samsung Life Insurance, NAVER Technology Service, and WeMakePrice. He designed and mentored the NAVER new employee training program in 2014 and the SK Planet new employee training program in 2015.
I also taught a web front-end course at Deview 2016. I'm interested in UX-conscious web front-end development and clean web front-end development methods, and I'm a designer and instructor for Boost Course's web full-stack training.

It helped me to get the basics of ES6. It was really helpful because it covered everything from basic concepts to utilization. I especially liked the fact that it included utilization based on webpack at the end. Even though it's a free course... Thank you. I thought of debugging/error correction during the course as a part of the development process, so I liked it. I'll have to study more in the future based on the course. ^--^

I've been coding the front-end only with React, and I'm watching this because I want to learn vanilla JS concepts. It seems like they only teach the essential core elements! However, I think you'll need to have some basic concepts to follow the latter half of the lecture.

Yes, it would be good to study ES6 and earlier grammar as well.
