When developing a new product, what if you could utilize Catia's CAD/CAM/CAE integrated development environment from the early stages to design all components in 3D on a computer and simulate assembly inspections, collision tests, and space inspections? This would allow you to proactively review and resolve issues before producing a physical prototype, improving product quality and reducing development time . However, when configuring kinematic simulations using designs with complex mechanisms, the combination of joints alone has its limitations.
Part 2 of Catia DMU Kinematics Simulation covers explanations and examples of advanced features such as External Reference, Contextual Link, how to use Measure Tools, Command with Laws, Sketch Laws, Importing Sub Mechanism, Rigid/Flexible Sub Assembly, and Sequence.
This course uses CatiaV5R19. Please note this when taking the course.
