FAQ

  • Are there any good textbooks to review?
  • When outputting a pointer to cout, I casted it to an integer like (int)my_ptr to view it in decimal for convenience, but after learning about void pointers, you can also cast it to a void pointer like (void*)my_ptr. This is an additional explanation for those who are reading it sporadically, although it has been mentioned several times during the lecture.

It was good to be able to understand more deeply the functions that I used to use without thinking.

I wanted to listen to Professor Hong Jeong-mo's lecture, but I gave up because the price was burdensome, but then he offered it at a low price for streaming, so I ended up taking the class. Thank you for giving me the opportunity. As a non-major, it was hard for me to understand all the content. In particular, I barely understood the latter part of modern C++ and the common sense of intermediate programmers, but as a beginner, I think it was a learning experience just by listening to it once. Thank you.

Thank you for the good course review. You said the latter part was difficult, but it is very difficult even for majors, so you don't need to be discouraged thinking that it is because you are not a major. As a programmer, you will encounter these concepts at some point, so I put in a lot of content so that you can look at them in advance. Anyway, since you have looked at them once now, you will be able to adapt much faster than others in a really urgent moment in the distant future. I usually don't leave comments on course reviews because I am afraid that students will feel burdened, but I left a few words in case you lost confidence. I want to tell you that you will definitely be rewarded much more for studying until the end, even if it is difficult. I hope you will continue to grow steadily in the future.

Thank you for the kind explanation. However, it is difficult for beginners to follow along.
