Building Your Own AWS Cloud Infrastructure - Fundamentals

We will explore the detailed features and options of AWS's most fundamental and core services, and by implementing cloud architecture step-by-step using these services, we will understand the structure and operating principles of infrastructure while building both the capability and confidence to directly construct cloud infrastructure.

It was a great help in studying AWS. I just listened to this and I feel like I'm already at the intermediate level of an AWS engineer. It's called the basics, but it seems like it's an advanced technology, so I'm satisfied after finishing it.

Hello, I am a new backend developer and I felt that I lack knowledge about AWS, so I took this course. I searched and found many blog posts, but I couldn't understand them, so I used the course. In the end, I really enjoyed the experience of following the course and implementing it. After experiencing it once, I read the details and I was able to understand it much better than before. I listened to the good course well.

It was a perfect and clean lecture.

What you will gain after the course

  • Technologies and related services for implementing AWS architecture

  • How to use core AWS services, their detailed functions, and options.

  • The process and methods of building an AWS cloud infrastructure

  • The correlation between services that make up the AWS cloud infrastructure and the operating principles of the cloud infrastructure.

  • The capability and confidence to build an AWS cloud infrastructure directly.

How to use AWS effectively in practice?
You need to be able to implement AWS architecture directly.

AWS, how much do you know about it?

AWS (Amazon Web Services) is now a globally recognized number one cloud service that more people know about than don't. In Korea, it's widely used across all IT industries, making AWS cloud an essential technology for those working in or aspiring to work in the IT field. Accordingly, many people study it extensively and obtain certifications, but is that all there is to it?

AWS, how much can you use?

After working in the field with AWS cloud for a long time, I often see people who are not well-prepared for practical work. In fact, among those who join as new employees or transfer to different teams or companies, many lack experience in building even simple architectures themselves.

The cloud is not a tangible environment that you can see right in front of you like traditional data centers, so even if your role isn't to build the architecture, it's true that it's difficult to perform cloud-related work without hands-on experience creating and working with it directly.

AWS architecture, isn't it difficult to create?

Many people can use individual AWS services to some extent, but struggle with implementing architectures directly because they don't know what steps and processes to follow. However, the method of implementing an architecture is the same as when we make things. In other words,

  • 1️⃣ Think about what kind of functional object (architecture) you want to create,
  • 2️⃣ Decide which ingredients (related technologies and AWS services) to use,
  • 3️⃣ After thinking about the relationships between ingredients and sketching out how to arrange them
  • 4️⃣ It's about actually building that thing (architecture).

This process may be a bit difficult at first, but if you practice starting with simple architectures, you'll gradually become more familiar with it and it will get easier.

[[STRONG_1]]백문이 불여일[[SPAN_2]]행[[/SPAN_2]]![[/STRONG_1]] [[BR]]직접 만들어 본 만큼 [[BR]]실력이 늘어납니다.

Those who have built even a simple architecture from start to finish on their own have a much higher understanding of AWS services and the architectures composed of them. Their ability to utilize the cloud is correspondingly higher, and there is a high possibility that their skills will continue to improve rapidly in the future. In this workshop-style online course,

1️⃣ After explaining the technologies and AWS services needed to implement the architecture and understanding the functional flow and interrelationships of the services that make up the architecture through diagrams,

2️⃣ You will implement the architecture with your own hands.

Detailed hands-on practice centered on AWS Management Console!

AWS services can be deployed and managed in code form in development environments, but the most basic and convenient environment to use is the web-based AWS Management Console.

In particular, creating and configuring a specific service requires the ability to use various options, and many people face difficulties when encountering code without understanding how the service is created and operates, or how the detailed options are structured.

So if you explore the detailed configuration items and options in the web-based AWS Management Console while creating services with your own eyes, it will help you understand better and be of great help when writing or managing code later.

Practice over theory, seeing once is better than doing once!

The course videos are structured with a hands-on focus, and are designed to be easy to follow at a comfortable pace, so even those creating architecture for the first time can follow along without difficulty.

Practice makes perfect! Rather than hearing and seeing it a hundred times, I will help you further develop your AWS cloud utilization skills through this course by building actual architecture at least once.

Check out more features of this course!

  • ✅ Rather than focusing on concepts or theoretical explanations, this is a hands-on practice-oriented course where you directly use AWS core services to build cloud infrastructure.
  • ✅ Since the entire hands-on content progresses step-by-step from beginning to end, you can not only learn how to use individual services, but also understand the relationships between services and infrastructure operating principles from an infrastructure perspective.
  • ✅ By examining the detailed options and features of each service during the infrastructure setup process, you can learn more in-depth service usage methods.

Please note before enrolling!

  • The difficulty level of this course is from beginner to basic level, where you will learn the fundamental concepts and basic usage of AWS's major infrastructure-related services.
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud is sufficient if you understand the basic concepts of what each service covered in the course does. (For example: VPC is a logically isolated virtual private network. Elastic Load Balancer distributes network traffic, etc.)
  • Since this is a hands-on workshop-style course, please note that we won't be providing in-depth explanations of the knowledge or theory behind each individual service covered in the course.
  • Most of the services covered in the course can be used for free within the AWS Free Tier benefits, but fundamentally AWS services are structured to charge based on usage, so if you're practicing with your personal account, we strongly recommend creating a new account to participate in the course.
※ Services not covered by Free Tier in the course content: Elastic IP, NAT Gateway, RDS created in multiple availability zones
※ We also recommend referring to the resource notes for saving practice costs in the middle of the curriculum.
  • The practice environment used in the lecture is as follows. OS: Windows, Browser: Chrome, SSH Client: PuTTY

In the case of other learning, there were many parts that were not helpful in practice because they were theory-centered learning! However, I think this lecture is by far the best among the lectures that focus on practice and architecture. If the next lecture can be conducted based on monitoring related to AWS management, I will definitely complete it. Thank you!
