I think it's good because the explanation is easy to understand even for non-majors. Personally, I don't like overly long and verbose explanations, but I like that the lecture is concise and focuses on only the parts that can be applied immediately in the field.

I was worried that it would be difficult since I am not a major and have never used a program before, but it was explained so easily and step by step that I understood it all! The lectures are not too long and the content is concise, so it was good to watch them from time to time :) Thank you for the great lecture and I look forward to the new lecture!!

It's very easy and slow to follow, so even a beginner like me can follow along!! I started learning Python because I had to, but the content in Hankang is not too much, and it's good because it explains each topic in detail. I'm a semiconductor practitioner, and if I use this well, it will be very useful in my work. I recommend it to practitioners!

What you will gain after the course

  • Python data analysis basics and useful practical application tips!

  • Python data visualization basics and useful practical application tips!

  • Create a super-simple data web dashboard!

◆Let's leave work 5 minutes early! Python data analysis & visualization + web dashboard creation◆

◆ Recommended for these people ◆

◆ Features of this course ◆

No more encyclopedia-like lectures! More reference-based lectures that focus on the essentials!

◆ Learn these things ◆

Part 1. Pandas: From Basics to Practice for Handling Structured Data

We cover everything from the basics of Pandas, the national library for handling structured data through Python, to essential methods and tips for practical use.

Part 2. From Basic to Practical Python Visualization

We cover Python's representative data visualization libraries, Matplotlib and Seaborn, as well as the more modern Plotly library.

Learn practical data-visualization methods and tips for drawing simple, clean graphs.

Part 3. Creating a Streamlit Web Dashboard Without Web Basics

Learn the basics of the Streamlit library, which allows you to easily create web dashboards without any prior web-related knowledge.

You'll learn how to build a simple web dashboard using a real-world dataset and gain insights from your data.

Hello! This is Parkgane Data Lab.

◆ I'm working at a well-known major corporation, focusing on process design and defect analysis based on big data analysis. I also serve as an in-house data science instructor and am deeply interested in Python workflow efficiency and data science, having been selected as one of 23 candidates out of over 2,000 for a Python workflow efficiency improvement program.

I first started learning Python to automate stock trading. Although it left a significant dent in my bank account, I realized its potential and leveraged it to improve work efficiency, achieving significant results. Building on this foundation, I now conduct various lectures and seminars under the motto, "Leave work 5 minutes earlier by improving work efficiency."

◆ I, too, experienced countless trials and errors while learning Python from scratch. With the hope that you won't experience the same trial and error, I've created this course with a generous dose of frequently used methods and essential tips.

You don't need to learn all of Python's syntax.

◆ Things prospective students might be curious about! ◆

Q. Why should I learn Python? How is it good for data analysis?

A representative example of a data analysis app widely used by the general public is Excel.

Excel is easy to use, but it's difficult to work with large data sets, and for automation and advanced analysis, you'll eventually need to learn VBA.

Python isn't just for data analysis. It's also for data analysis. Python is fast. You can automate repetitive tasks with simple scripts, and numerous free libraries for advanced data analysis are available.

You might feel there's a barrier to entry at first, but I believe this course will help lower that barrier. Once you overcome that initial barrier, I believe you'll be able to experience firsthand the tremendous potential Python holds in the field of data analysis.

Q. I'm new to Python. Will I have any trouble taking the course and applying it in real life?

I believe most people are looking for this course not because they can't analyze data, but because they want to do it more efficiently.

You've come to the right place, and while it might seem scary at first, like learning to ride a two-wheeled bike after riding a familiar tricycle, you'll be amazed at how much faster you can ride a two-wheeled bike than a tricycle!
