1. Course Introduction

jQuery is a JavaScript library that adds dynamic movement and functionality to web pages. Functions that would normally require several lines of code in traditional JavaScript can now be accomplished with just one, making it simple, fast, and easy to use. This jQuery course is provided by Shop2World. The course uses jQuery information from w3schools as the textbook.

I listened to more than half of it, but I couldn't listen anymore, so I just skipped over it. There are too many parts that I just skip over.

I really hate hearing pronunciations of people who don't know English well, as if they're acting like they've been drinking American water. What the heck~~ I'm just reading the contents of w3school.com...

It proceeds in the form of reading the jQuery content of w3school *as is*. The 'Summary Final Exam' at the end of the curriculum is not even a simple practice, but rather just solving the quiz part of w3school together. Don't expect much. You will definitely be disappointed. I think that the fact that it is a YouTube lecture filmed in 2014 and uploaded to Inflearn is also something that learners should consider. The jQuery used in the lecture is 1.11.1, and as of April 2024, jQuery version 3.7.1 is provided. This lecture is only effective for those who have decided to learn jQuery but find it burdensome to study alone by going through documents or textbooks, or those who want to review jQuery by going through the entire lecture at high speed.

It's not even worth 1 point. Don't listen to it..; I wonder if they uploaded this as a lecture; It's just reading the method names on w3schools and running examples, there's nothing else. They don't even explain the methods on w3schools. Haha You have to feed this method something with style, why do you have to do that, This method and this method seem to do the same thing, but there's this difference, when should you use it, etc. There's no additional explanation like that. It's just a waste of time. I already knew it, so I put it on double speed and read it all over again, so I finished it with difficulty, but I don't think this is a good lecture at all. Beginners who don't know anything, absolutely. Do not take this lecture and look for another lecture. Or, I think it would be better to go to w3schools, read the explanation, look at the examples, and do it on your own. This is really not true. It's worse than doing it alone. What's the use of just looking at the method? What's the use of just knowing the method name? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ You need to know how and why to use it, but you don't explain even one of those things. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ This is called a lecture....;;;;; It's all explained in English, but maybe you didn't catch it; or maybe it's because it's your first lecture and you're not good at it; Anyway, it's really bad. If there were 0 points, I'd give it 0. Unfortunately, it starts from 1; Although w3schools is in English, it's explained in simple and easy words, so you won't feel burdened. Go to w3schools and study on your own. If you don't like English no matter how simple it is! If you go to daily coding, there's a translation of w3schools. I think you can look at that. I recommend looking at w3schools directly. No matter how well the translation is done, it's best to see the original. ㅎㅎ If you're looking at w3schools and you don't understand something, it would be good to search on Naver or Google or go to Life Coding and just go over that part.
