I listened to it to prepare for an interview as a server developer this month! I heard a lot about Docker from people around me, so I was nervous before the interview, but thanks to this lecture that covers the theory from beginning to end and also goes into every nook and cranny of hands-on, I think I now know exactly how to use it and why it's necessary. Even if I pass the interview, I'll review it well during the remaining period!! I recommend this lecture to beginners like me.

J.PHIL teacher, I am a non-major developer who listened to [Mastering Big Data Pipeline] that you released before. ㅎㅎ I graduated from the business administration department and have been studying on my own through hardships~ It is not an easy path, so I have many concerns, but since it deals with practical things, I feel proud of studying this and that~~ If I had listened to it later, I would have come back to Docker a lot, but it was helpful to quickly and systematically organize the theory and practice like this with the "chicken price" ㅋㅋ~~ I will have to keep listening to it repeatedly for the remaining period. I vaguely thought it would be difficult, but I feel confident and proud. Thank you!!

What you will gain after the course

Developer's Core Skill, Docker
Completely organized with 3 solid hands-on!

Hello, this is JOINC 🚀

Everyone, is there a word you've heard a lot while working as a developer? I think 80% of developers will mention the word Docker. According to Gartner Survey results, Docker is the most loved development tool in 2022. That means Docker has become an essential tool and core technology for your life as a developer.

So, I prepared this course [Mastering Docker and Dockerizing for Beginners] . Docker is a concept that you must know to live as a solid server developer or DevOps engineer. If you are a front-end developer, you should study Docker for efficient versioning and collaboration.

Why should we take this course ? 📚

Docker has now become a de facto standard in the software industry. In addition to personal development environments, applications are being deployed using Docker Compose and Docker Swarm. Cloud service providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure also provide container-based services as core services.

In this environment, it is clear why we need to learn Docker.

  • Developers in the cloud era must clearly understand and be able to handle containers to ensure lightweight services and stable deployment .
  • Developers involved in service development, as well as DevOps and cloud engineers, will inevitably encounter the CI/CD pipeline . The essential prerequisite knowledge required here is Docker and Dockerizing.
  • With various development environments sprouting up all over the place, developers now need to be able to develop and deploy their applications anytime, anywhere.

Now, across all development fields , “the ability to handle Docker is not an option, but a must.”

How is the lecture content structured ? 🧑🏻‍🏫

In this lecture, you will systematically learn about Container, Docker, Dockerfile, Image, Dockerizing, and Docker Registry theories that you often find confusing and difficult.

Above all, we have organized the lectures to follow up on the solid 3* Hands-on code lab below so that you can apply and use it efficiently in the field. 📚

What do we learn?

Anyone who wants to become an efficient developer can take this course 🧑🏻‍🎓

Anyone who knows basic Linux commands can take the course.

What is the practice environment like? 💻

If you prepare a stress-free environment as shown below, you will be able to follow the class.

  • Any OS with Docker Engine installed properly (Note: Handson codelab is performed on Ubuntu)
  • If you don't want to be disturbed by your existing work environment, try using ec2 free.tier(ubuntu) 🙏🏻

The knowledge sharer for this course is ✒️

Having worked in the startup ecosystem for a long time, I have covered distributed processing, which was my original major, but I have actually done Devops and server development in various fields of IOT and E-Commerce. About 7 years ago, I happened to come across Docker, and I was able to study Packaging and Deployment in more depth.

Since then, I have released this [Mastering Docker and Dockerizing for Beginners] course based on the concepts I have been working hard to organize and the experience and know-how I have accumulated from teaching numerous students. 🧑🏻‍🏫

Level Up After Taking the Class, Try This! 😄

We highly recommend [Creating MSA Applications Using Docker] from our JOINC Yundream as the next course.

Hello Mac, Thank you for coming to my second lecture. I also started studying late, so I needed some time to focus in the beginning. You chose a difficult path, but if you work hard like Mac, you will see many good results, so fighting! I just uploaded a video about the content you asked about, 'Finding and running jupyter notebook images', as a Special Lecture, so please check it out. I hope you will have good results in the future. Go for it!
