Unity Game Development (Unity 2D) - From Start to Deployment

This Unity game development course covers everything from the basic C# grammar used in Unity to the Unity interface, sound, data management, and distribution as an Android app. In addition, the course is not a follow-along course, but rather a lecture that allows you to understand the principles and create your own mobile game.

It was good that the basic contents were divided into easy-to-understand time units, so I could look at them during my subway commute. However, considering that people without any basic knowledge might have difficulty with in-depth explanations, they only provide explanations for practical use, neither more nor less. Personally, I think we should keep in mind that this is a basic course. Anyway.. I also bought the practical version. I might be able to upload it to the clicker game market soon! Thank you:)

The basics of basic lectures I know all the principles of programming, but I took the lecture to learn the basics of Unity. There are many lectures on game engines these days that teach you how to make games. However, if you make a game by following those lectures, you will end up with a game, but you will often waste time without knowing any of the principles. A basic lecture is one that teaches you the principles of basic items, like this lecture. I expect that you will be able to make a game with what you learned in this lecture + Googling. Of course, I plan to take the next advanced lecture to make the code beautiful.

What you will gain after the course

  • Understanding the structure of a Unity project and its game objects and components

  • Understanding the Unity interface and its various views

  • Importance of Unity Scripting and Basic Structure Using C#

  • Creating basic and interactive UI elements in Unity UI

  • Understanding Unity's animation system and how to control it

  • Unity data saving and loading features, scene conversion system, audio system, and how to monetize your game with Unity Ads.

1. Introduction to Unity Game Development (2D) Course

This Unity game development course is designed for non-programmers with no prior programming knowledge. The curriculum covers everything from the basic C# syntax used in Unity to the Unity interface, sound, data management, and even Android app deployment. Furthermore, rather than simply following the tutorial, the course aims to help students understand the fundamentals and create their own mobile games. The Unity engine is the most popular game development engine. Content created with the Unity game engine can be deployed across a variety of platforms, and the number of available platforms continues to grow.

Create your own game. You come across games like those on your commute to work or school. Running games like Cookie Run, clicker games where you level up by clicking randomly. Have you ever thought of a better idea or a more fun way to play? Create your own game and enjoy the experience of having many people play it.

2. Helpful people

This is for non-majors who have no programming knowledge whatsoever.

Creative and engaging games begin with basic programming. From programming syntax to engine utilization, this book covers everything you need to take your first steps as a game developer, from beginner to advanced.

Not blindly following, but following after learning

It's easy to get lost in the immediacy of lectures focused on immediate results. Even if you learn something, you need to make it your own. Instead of content you can easily find and follow, we offer practical tips and insights from instructors who are working in the field.

3. Things to learn

  • To implement a mobile-optimized UI, we will examine each Unity component, such as buttons and scroll views.
  • From basic C# grammar to Unity interfaces, sound, data management, and deployment as an Android app.
  • Learn animation clips, states, controllers, and animator components to implement various animations .
  • We will work on a project to create an actual game using the theories we have learned.
  • Let's create a running game or clicker game like Cookie Run.

4. Why Unity for game development?

Build once, deploy anywhere

Content created with the Unity game engine can be deployed across a wide range of platforms, with the number of available platforms constantly growing. After building, you can deploy your content to all major mobile, VR, desktop, console, TV, and even the web with just one click.

The most popular game development engine

34% of the top 1,000 free mobile games are developed with Unity. 770 million users worldwide play Unity-based games. Visit the official Unity website.

6. Introduction to Encoding

Study Encoding is both a startup and an academy. Instructors teach, and students take classes.

But, it's different from an academy.
We have reduced the burden of tuition by eliminating expenses other than lectures, such as rent, marketing costs, and labor costs.
We research and improve new topics and curricula every time.
Because I believe that the essence of a lecture lies in the lecture itself.

We are not in a rush to market or sell.
We do not repeat the same lectures.
I believe that improving the quality of lectures is the best marketing.

A lecture service that started small in Sinchon is spreading throughout Seoul.
I want to help non-majors who are unable to pursue their dreams due to technical barriers.
We hope to contribute to the realization of everyone's ideas, transcending regional limitations.
