I have news to share with you all - a new challenge

Hello everyone. This is Kim Young-han.

I have decided to leave Woowa Brothers, where I have enjoyed working for the past 7 years, and take on a new challenge for the growth and education of developers.

First, let me tell you why I made this choice.

It's been about 4 years since I started teaching online technologies like Java, Spring, and JPA for developers at Infraon. During that time, I've received many reviews and emails like the following.

"I was not a major so I didn't know how to study development, but after listening to Younghan's lecture, I passed the Nekaraku Cup."

"While working at SI, I thought about quitting my job as a developer because I couldn't see a path for growth, but after listening to Younghan's lecture, I saw a path. So I listened to the roadmap diligently and prepared, and was able to get into the mid-sized company I wanted to go to."

"I work for a small company and don't have a salesperson, but through Younghan's lectures, I was able to find a way to study and grow."

I also heard the following story a lot from people around me.

“If you look at developers applying to companies these days, they have a good grasp of the basics of technologies like Spring and JPA, and most of them have taken Younghan’s lectures.”

“When I look at the junior developers on our team, most of them study by listening to Younghan’s lectures.”

“I was worried about junior developer training, but I recommend Younghan’s lecture. Thanks to him, I am less worried about training.”

I graduated from high school and had a hard time getting a job as a developer. When I was a junior, I worked in a bad environment and felt like my life was covered with thick fog. At that time, I thought it would be great if someone could give me direction for my development. That's why I feel a great sense of accomplishment when I see someone's life changing and growing into a good developer thanks to the lectures I prepared. In particular, I heard a lot of good stories like the one I just mentioned last year. I think the developers who studied hard are now reaping the fruits of their labor.

As I listened to my lectures and saw many developers grow and change their lives, I thought deeply for the past year. The reason I thought so long was because working as a technical director at Woowa Brothers and developing the Baedal Minjok service with the members was so enjoyable and exciting for me. And fortunately, I had the experience of leading and improving a good service that was growing rapidly, and at the center of it, I was able to design and develop various domains such as payment, settlement, order, exhibition, and common platform, and also experience improving the entire service to a microservice architecture with the members.

People may have different thoughts on what kind of life is more valuable, but I thought deeply about what I am doing at this point in time that is more valuable and meaningful. It is meaningful for me to grow and fill myself through my work, but I thought it was more meaningful at this point in time to make it easy for anyone to learn the numerous practical development know-hows that I have pondered and experienced for a long time. I hope that through this, the next generation of developers will grow quickly and become better developers than the current generation of developers. Therefore, I plan to do the following things in the future to help developers find jobs and grow.

1. Developer Employment: For those who want to become developers, we plan to complete a lecture curriculum that will allow them to learn everything they need online (Infraun). We will start with basic lectures such as Java and database design.

2. Developer Growth: I plan to create high-level practical lectures so that practical developers can grow further. I want to help practical developers easily learn and apply the practical experience and wisdom I have gained so far, such as testing, development architecture, MSA, design, etc. So I want to raise the technical capabilities of the entire development market.

I feel grateful and sorry to the members of Woowa Brothers who have been with me for the past 7 years. However, I am truly grateful that everyone supported and cheered me on when I made this decision.

I sincerely thank all the developers who attended my lectures at Infraon and supported me. I believe that each and every one of your support has added value and meaning to my life.

thank you
