(The only effect lecture that delves deep into Niagara in Korea and abroad) This lecture accurately understands the roles of particles and emitters and allows you to customize parameters and modules accordingly to learn how they interact. I don't think I've seen any other lectures in Korea or abroad that allow you to study Niagara this deeply. It's very difficult for test takers, but I recommend it to those with experience. It was a bit disappointing that there were some parts where voices overlapped or content disappeared in the middle of the lecture, but there was no major problem in following along. Please make more informative lectures, thank you. :)

The structure of Niagara

For those who are new to Niagara, we will explain the interface and structure step by step. After learning skills such as emitters, attributes, and particle spawning, you will create your own electric FX through practice.

 Lightning FX

You can also create ribbon particles that follow an event, customize them to add random values, and finally create a streak of lightning!

 Texture Sample FX

Let's first look at an example of a texture sample FX, and then apply a Color value or apply a Create/Destroyer using RGB values.

Skeletal Mesh FX

Let's take a look at an example of skeletal mesh FX and use the Mesh reproduction module. If you apply/control the UV Texture sample of the Skeletal Mesh Location, it's done!

We recommend that you install Unreal Engine version 5.1 or higher. You don't need any other programs right away.

  • Player Knowledge and Notes
    • It would be good to have basic knowledge of Unreal Engine, but it would be OK to learn briefly on the engine site.
    • It would be better to go through the entire lecture and then review and apply the details.
