I currently reside in Ireland and have a professional background as a UX Designer at global tech companies IBM and Oracle.
As a non-major, I have experienced two rigorous periods of job hunting while building a career of over 15 years as a UX Designer.
The first was my experience preparing on my own to become a web designer in Korea as a non-major,
The second was my experience preparing to get a job as a local UX designer in Ireland,
During these periods, I went through all sorts of trial and error while preparing on my own without a clear roadmap, so I understand better than anyone where non-majors struggle.
I have created this course to share my experiences with those who want to make the profession of a UX designer a realistic career option, rather than just a vague aspiration.
In particular, I cover the UX environment in English-speaking countries, the design culture of global corporations, and the UX perspectives and collaboration methods required for overseas employment, offering a vision for growing into a global UX designer beyond the domestic market.
In particular, I have recently been conducting UX-related lectures and seminars.
