[Renewal] Introduction to JavaScript in Zero Seconds through Coding Self-Study

In this lecture, we will practice developing programming thinking skills using JavaScript. Let's start with the web game, the multiplication table, and then create a word game, number baseball, a reaction speed test, tic-tac-toe, a lottery machine, rock-paper-scissors, a card matching game, a text RPG, a minesweeper, a 2048 game, and a mole catching game.

Coding Self-study Zero-second JavaScript Introduction Book Publication and Lecture Title Change Notice

Hello. This is Zerocho.

It's none other than the publication of the Zero Seconds Introductory JavaScript Book, a self-directed learning program for coding .
You may wonder if I am advertising by using the notice function.
The Let's Get Started JavaScript Programming book has been completely rewritten and republished for 2024.

So, I have also changed the title of the current lecture. I am posting this as a notice to prevent confusion due to the sudden change in the lecture title.

You may be wondering what has changed in the new book.

  1. In the existing book, new concepts were inserted here and there while making web games, so it was difficult to find the locations when you wanted to look up those concepts later. -> We modified the book so that the concepts were grouped in the first chapters (chapters 2, 3, and 4) so that you can easily look them up later when you want to review only the concepts.

  2. The overall description of the book itself has been revised to focus more on beginners. And although the title of the book is Self-study, Gilbut Publishing operates a separate Self-study Group (similar to Zero Second's Time Attack ).

  3. Learn the concepts of Promise and async/await syntax and use them when creating a lottery machine in Chapter 6 (Chapter 8 in the book).

The lecture curriculum itself has not been significantly revised. Even if a new book is released, you can follow the existing lecture content. Soon, only the Promise, async/await lecture and the 6th lecture, the lottery machine part, will be revised and uploaded. Please show a lot of interest in the newly released book!
