Learn ASP.NET CORE (.NET5) in 14 Days

We've added tutorials for upgrading projects from .NET CORE 2.1 to 3.1, and from .NET CORE 3.1 to .NET 5 and .NET 6. (Adding .NET 6 Web Projects is provided in text-only format, without video.)

ASP.NET CORE represents the future direction for C#. It already incorporates the features offered by front-end languages through an upgraded version of C#. Furthermore, many internal features have been redesigned with the revamp of ASP.NET into ASP.NET CORE ( now re-integrated into .NET 5).

What's special about this course

  • ASP.NET Core's core philosophy is to structure each role separately using MVC, and to inject content into empty shells using dependency injection to create services.
  • We also cover how to use a powerful OR-Mapping called Entity Framework Core for working with SQL Database Server.
  • Finally, let me briefly introduce my learning method. Based on the opinions of numerous institutions and experts, I've included lectures that focus on coding rather than theory.
  • Because the course focuses on hands-on coding, I'm confident that if you follow the content closely, you'll be able to confidently use ASP.NET CORE. By laying the foundation for ASP.NET CORE programming, you'll acquire practical skills that can be immediately applied to new projects.

3-Line Summary of Learning Objectives 📖

  • Use Entity Framework Core, recommended by Microsoft.
  • Protect data used in your applications with DataProtection.
  • Manage application activity through logging.

📢 Things to note before taking the course

  • There are things you need to prepare for the lecture.
    (1) Visual Studio 2019 Community Edition or higher <= Free
    (2) MS SQL Server 2017 Developer Edition or higher <= Free
  • SQL Server Developer Edition has been free since 2016. Additionally, all lectures are presented sequentially, so when programming yourself, you should follow the instructions in order.

Beginners can do it, but it seems more helpful for those who have studied asp.net mvc to some extent. The reason is that it progresses a little fast. As with other lectures, even if the number of chapters increases, it would be better for the viewers if each lecture is cut into 10-15 minutes. The content is good.

I recommend it. It's a good introductory course for .NET Core. I bought it before because I needed the skills, and I've been listening to it often since then.

The lecture uses version 2.0 and the one I'm using is version 2.1, so there were some differences here and there and it took some time to find them, but it was more detailed and practical than other lectures and helped me a lot. Thank you!!!
