twotwothree's honest review, Essential Knowledge for the AI Era: <Deep Learning for Everyone>, Understandable Without Knowing Math or Coding course

In this era of an AI deluge, I felt like I couldn’t understand anything and was overwhelmed by FOMO, so I signed up because the course title made it sound like it was understandable even without knowing math or coding. As it turns out, the instructor was someone whose e-book I had bought and read before. You always seem to come up with such catchy titles.. haha I once tasted despair while reading a deep learning book and running into complicated equations, and all I could do was worry about how I was supposed to get by going forward. This course lowered that barrier to entry by a lot. Even when I read the instructor’s book, I had never written a review like this, but I got a little excited and developed a sense of familiarity when I realized it was the same instructor, so I’m writing a somewhat longer review. The equations are kept to a minimum, while there are lots of illustrations and intuitive explanations. Rather than feeling like I was struggling through studying, I found myself understanding everything smoothly, as if I were watching an educational program. It calmly sank in and accumulated in my head, which felt great. It was also gratifying because the things that had seemed so overwhelming when I was reading the book finally started to make sense, making me feel like I was studying properly. I think the biggest strength is that, compared with books or other courses, you don’t simply list the characteristics of each model as if we have to memorize them all. Through storytelling, the course explains the limitations of previous models, what technology emerged to solve those limitations, and what the concept behind that technology is, all while progressing like a story. I’m truly grateful to see you consistently creating content for people who are just starting out and for juniors in the industry, and you seem like someone who has a really positive influence. Thank you, instructor haha I highly, highly recommend this to anyone studying AI for the first time—especially those who, like me, gave up after trying to read difficult books!!! lol
