Before taking this lecture, I had learned a bit about PCBs in school, but I didn't know why there are various numbers of layers. Also, since I had only seen MCU boards in the form of development boards, I wasn't sure what components needed to be included or why they existed. It was great to be able to learn these things systematically this time.
