I worked as a graphic designer for about 6 years and 7 months. My career gap is now approaching nearly 9 months. When I was working at design agencies, I always wanted to carry out projects based on a logical thinking process, but the internal environment was often too busy just churning out work, making it difficult to expect that kind of approach. Participating in this challenge was a great opportunity to look back on the entire process—from the overall situation and problem to the final solution. In the process, I also developed a lot of responsibility and affection for my projects. The most memorable feedback I received was regarding the "5 Whys" method for problem definition and how to measure performance. I remember vaguely learning about the 5 Whys in passing before, but I struggled with how to actually apply it. Through this course, I learned how to distinguish between a phenomenon and the definition of a problem. I also learned how to view performance from various perspectives, such as cost, qualitative factors, time management, and efficiency. I especially enjoyed gathering with my teammates to give each other feedback and engage in Q&A sessions about our projects. I became curious about other members' projects, learned how to ask the right questions, and had so much to learn from them, which allowed me to improve much faster. Once this challenge is over, I want to apply and refine the methods I've learned in my other projects, as well as in future ones. I would highly recommend this to those who feel lost because they have never systematically prepared for a career move, or those who want to work in a logical or data-driven way within a company but aren't sure how to start. The coach, who gave such passionate lectures and advice, and my enthusiastic teammates are all very memorable to me. Thank you.
