To be honest, I feel strongly that the lecture sequence is too scattered and disorganized. I think this is a lecture suited for those who are already majors or have a good understanding of programming languages. Rather than a well-structured curriculum, it feels like you need to repeat it several times to find some connections, and while it might be that my understanding is lacking, I absolutely don't think this is a lecture for beginners or one that will help you pass in just a week. The materials are also mismatched or inadequate, and it seems like you'd need to constantly pause the videos and take extensive notes to keep up, so you'd need to allow plenty of time - at least over a month. I'd recommend it if you have sufficient foundational knowledge built up, but for beginners, I'd suggest taking a lecture that explains the basics thoroughly first.
