I had read and studied Professor Razavi's Design of Analog CMOS Integrated Circuits countless times, and I was confident that I had a deep understanding of circuits and could explain them thoroughly. However, even though I was good at circuit analysis, I didn't know how to actually "design" one. That's when I discovered Samcoaching's lecture and decided to take it. Going through the hands-on practice and contemplating the trade-offs helped me understand the circuits more deeply.
