I took Eric's lectures in a row, from Introduction to UX Design, UI Design Using Figma, to Research. I haven't completed many other online lectures, but I've continued to complete Eric's lectures. I'm leaving a review because I think it might be helpful for those who are considering taking the research lecture. First of all, as mentioned at the beginning of the lecture, this lecture focuses on the content that beginners in UX/UI absolutely need to know. It consists of basic information related to research, such as why research should be done and how beginners can approach it. The advantages of Eric's lectures in my opinion are: 1. I feel that the lecture content was organized after much thought about what information beginners need. Since important content is repeated several times, there is almost no missing part, and since he organized and shared Q&A questions that other beginners asked, many of my questions were resolved. 2. Based on his experience as a practitioner and interviewer, he points out the core competencies that companies want. Based on actual job postings, I think it will definitely be helpful for those who are thinking about getting a job in UX/UI, such as telling you how the interviewer and the company want the skills to match. 3. You share the data from your actual research, and by explaining step-by-step from the beginning, you teach research methods that you can try right away. In addition to the lecture content, I think I continued to listen to Eric's lectures because I could feel that he sincerely wanted the students to do well. However, since the content of this research lecture is so important, the part about why you need to do research in the beginning is somewhat repetitive. This part was a little disappointing, but I think it was because I tried to listen to the lecture quickly. In conclusion, the quality of the lectures is so great while working in the field, so I think I am learning not only UX/UI content but also attitudes toward life. I am grateful in many ways, and I would like to recommend the lecture to others.
Cloe, thank you for your sincere review. I appreciate you pointing out the points that I thought about while creating the course and how I could help the students. I think user research is a very important skill for getting a job at a company and becoming a UX/UI designer and product designer who is recognized by the company. So I think the points that Cloe pointed out will be helpful to prospective students before choosing this course. I am so happy and rewarded if I could help you even a little through this course. By the way, Cloe is the first student to have taken all three courses that I opened in Inflearn. I think it was possible because she had the ability to execute, and I believe that she will quickly achieve her goals in the future. I will support you deeply.
