[Daily Completion Challenge] <From Planning to Launch with FastAPI> with the Author
This challenge helps you implement, deploy, and launch a web application server using the book "FastAPI Development White Paper: From Planning to Launch." When you have no experience launching a developed project, the most important thing is to experience launching something, even if it's on a small scale. Here, "small scale" refers not only to the size of the project but also to the amount of willpower you invest in it. For example, if the tools used to create the project are too difficult or complex, there is a very high probability that you won't make it to the launch. In that sense, FastAPI fits the "small scale" criteria because its learning curve is not steep. In other words, we treat FastAPI as a practical tool and educational resource suitable for developing, launching, and operating a project. Furthermore, this challenge does not take Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Agile methodologies as its main themes. However, it utilizes certain elements of TDD and Agile as activities necessary for effective learning and project execution. Therefore, you can gain experience in designing, planning, or writing practical test code, as well as converting plans or requirements into development tasks. If you feel lost on how to apply these development methodologies in a real-world professional setting, you will find this to be a beneficial hands-on experience.

Hello, learners.
The first season of the Inflearn Challenge, which began last fall, has concluded, and I've taken a short break. Before I knew it, spring has already arrived.
I am sharing the news that we have opened the FastAPI Development White Paper Challenge Season 2. The learning content is the same as Season 1, but the prize structure has changed slightly from the first season, which was launched as a promotion to celebrate the book's publication. We have designed it to further reduce the financial burden for those who are determined to focus and aim for completion. 🙂🙂
There must be many people who couldn't participate in the first round, so please let them know.

The Inflearn Challenge for the FastAPI Development White Paper will conclude with this 2nd batch. After this challenge, I will see you again with lecture-style content scheduled for release in April or May. 🙂

Hello, I am Hannal, the author of "From Planning to Release, FastAPI Development White Paper."
I have released all the content for Week 6. While different people may find different sessions more time-consuming, I thought it would be better to release the deployment-related lectures all at once to help you manage your progress.
You will likely face many obstacles if you don't try configuring the infrastructure and deploying it yourself, but I'll be rooting for you to overcome them all and succeed in your deployment.
The weather is freezing. It looks like it'll be cold all week, so try to get through the Week 6 material in a warm indoor spot. 🙂
Sincerely, Author Hannal, rooting for your challenge.
Hello, I'm Hannal, author of "From Planning to Launch: The FastAPI Development Guide."
After completing Week 4, which had the most learning and practice content, we've now entered Week 5. From Week 5 onwards, the learning burden will decrease. Except for Week 5 Session 4, where we'll study SQLAlchemy's asynchronous operations in detail, the learning topics are relatively easy and the content volume is also lighter.
You can think of it as an easier Week 5, or you could use it as time to review the intense Weeks 3-4. 🙂 If you want to maximize your learning effectiveness,
Digesting the Week 4 assignment and making it your own, and
reviewing
I recommend it.
Making it your own means reverse-engineering the assignment to understand what purpose and intention I had in designing it, and thinking about how you would redesign this intention and learning objectives to fit yourself (your knowledge, experience, skill level, preferences, policies, etc.). In other words, it's about reassembling and digesting the assignment's intention and subject matter in your own language, thoughts, and perspective.
Review itself is effective for learning, and even though only a few days have passed, there will already be some content that's becoming hazy. When you recall (retrieve) those things again, they'll be more deeply ingrained in your mind.
The weather is very cold, so please take care of your health, and fighting for week 5! I'm rooting for you.
From the author Hannal, cheering on your challenge.
Hello, I'm Hannal, author of "From Planning to Launch: FastAPI Development White Paper."
We've already made it halfway through the entire schedule. In Week 4, assignments will be given for each session. I'm not giving them out with evil intentions to set up obstacles and increase the difficulty to prevent you from completing the challenge. Rather, my intention is to provide you with food for thought that will help expand your thinking regarding launching and operating a service.
Books and lectures are one-way learning materials that you can review after completing them, but assignments will serve as a two-way learning material where I provide feedback to you during the challenge period. So make sure to check out the assignments too. 🙂
From the author Hannal, cheering on your challenge.
