A 4-Week Practical MSA Design Challenge with Code Reviews from a Developer with 15 Years of Experience
Through one live session per week, along with practical assignments and feedback, you will design the boundaries and models of an order domain using DDD. Over three weeks, you will complete an example project applying Hexagonal and Clean Architecture, CQRS, Event-Driven Architecture, and ACL.
Including hands-on practice with inter-module communication using Kafka and gRPC, the entire program can be considered a four-week practical course!

I have led development teams at a wide range of small startups, Nasdaq-listed companies, and foreign-owned firms five or six times, and as the team lead for outsourced development projects working with new people each time, I learned a very painful lesson.

Yes. You can complete the mission on your own using the order-domain example used in the challenge. If you have a personal project, you may also adapt it to fit that domain.
Live attendance is recommended, but if you’re unable to participate, you can still complete the videos and missions. Please check the scope of the announced replay availability and feedback provided.
I review with a focus on domain responsibilities and boundaries, dependency direction, and the rationale behind applying CQRS, event flows, and ACLs. Rather than presenting the right answer, I help you explain your design rationale yourself and improve it.
No. The focus is on DDD-based domain design and architecture application. MSA is covered briefly as the context in which DDD is used, and the final deliverable is an individual DDD design document.
