1Every Wednesday at 21:00, two practical missions for the week become available.
2Create a mission branch on the website, then work on the solution and supporting evidence on your computer and push it.
3You can prepare the Week 1 problems and your personal repository and mission branch in advance. Once your crew roster and dedicated Discord channel are ready, the PR submission button on the homepage will automatically become available.
4Detailed reviews are left on Dingco and GitHub PRs, and starting in week 2, you will leave a 10–300-character mission comment for each problem. Weekly summaries and operational announcements will be posted on Discord.
5Read the publicly available passing PRs and accumulate one official review for each different week by 21:00 on the last Sunday to have them counted toward the completion criteria.

The passing criterion is at least 4 out of 6 multiple-choice questions. This is the minimum threshold to confirm that you are ready to complete the course. Before passing, preparation for the GitHub repository and weekly missions will not begin.
Even if you don’t pass, you can take the assessment again. If you feel your fundamentals are lacking, use the 30% coupon provided to all applicants to purchase the companion course separately, strengthen your skills, and try again. Write your solution code in the `submit/<mission>` branch of your private repository, and record your interpretation of the problem, rationale for your choices, time and space complexity, and revision process in `evidence/<mission>.md`, then submit it as a GitHub PR. Checks for the branch, solution file, and evidence format, along with an AI review for each problem, are left on the same PR, and for external problems, the Programmers pass result is also recorded in the evidence.

Crews usually consist of 5–6 people, and their member lists remain hidden until the public announcement. Participant registration and the pre-assessment close at 19:00 on the Wednesday of the start week, and the crew lists and dedicated Discord channels are revealed at 20:00 that same day. The Week 1 problems, personal repositories, and mission branches can be prepared in advance, and the PR submission button is automatically activated at 21:00 that same day. Official reviews and scores are based first on passing PRs from your own crew; if there are no eligible PRs, PRs from other crews in the same cohort are also opened, with one per week provisionally counted cumulatively. Detailed score sheets are not disclosed. Once the final scores are confirmed after the challenge ends, only the winning crews that have consented will be featured in the Hall of Fame with their GitHub badges and publicly disclosed names.
