Currently, Android can be developed using both Java and Kotlin. You can develop the same Android applications regardless of which language you use.

This course covers most aspects of Android application development, from basics to advanced levels, and all code is written using the Kotlin language starting from the fundamental concepts.

Additionally, it uses Google's latest UI library, Material 3.

This course primarily focuses on screens and interfaces within the overall Android curriculum, and more in-depth topics will be covered in the next course.

Detailed Curriculum Structure

  • Introduction to Android and Setting Up the Development Environment: Lessons 1–6
    We will provide a brief introduction to this course and look at how to set up the development environment.



  • Concept of View and layout: Lecture 7 ~ Lecture 17
    In this course, we will look at the basic syntax of the Kotlin language and various control statements.


  • Concepts and Utilization of Widgets: Lectures 18 to 48
    We will explore various widgets. Widgets refer to UI elements with specific functions, such as buttons and input elements. We will also look at the new UI elements provided in the Material 3 library.



  • AdapterView: Lectures 48 ~ 62
    We will explore various adapter views. An adapter view is a UI element that allows users to scroll through multiple items using a large amount of data.
