What you will learn!

  • This course teaches you how to develop Android applications using the Java language.

  • This course is the fourth of four courses, and you will carry out three projects that combine what you have learned so far and what was not covered in class.

This lecture is 📖

Currently, Android can be developed using Java and Kotlin. You can develop the same Android application using either language. This course covers most aspects of Android application development, from the basics to advanced, and code is written entirely in Java. This course is a hands-on project within the Android curriculum. By combining what you've learned so far with new knowledge, you'll create three applications.

Lessons 1-4: Introduction to Android and Setting Up a Development Environment

This lecture will briefly introduce the course and show you how to set up a development environment.

Lessons 5-18: Practical Project - Creating a Memo Application

Let's create an application that stores and manages user-created notes using an embedded database.

Lessons 19-27: Practical Project - Creating an LBS Application

Let's create an application that uses maps and surrounding information based on your current location.

Lessons 28-76: Practical Project - Creating a Bulletin Board Application

Let's build a bulletin board application. It features functions such as user registration and login, post creation, editing, and deletion. The UI elements are based on Google's Material Design 3, and the server uses Google's Firebase Cloud Service.
