I'll show you how to strategically create a portfolio. To get a job quickly, you need to create a portfolio that the 'interviewer' will like, not the design you want to do.

🔵
It's logical. Or you like reading books.
❌
It's not logical. Or you hate reading books.
❓ Why?
When working on UXUI design
Because problem-solving skills, literacy, and the ability to grasp and summarize key content are important.
It doesn't really matter whether you are a major or not!
Online (VOD) lectures...
🔵 A person who fits well
❌ People who don't fit well
🔵
I don't have a habit of procrastinating. I attend online classes diligently, even without supervision.
I took the free online lecture from Nidesign Lab and I understood the content well overall.
I am taking the lectures and creating my portfolio without much difficulty.
It is a situation where you can prepare slowly and get a job.
❌
I have a habit of procrastinating. I need someone to help me manage my online classes.
I took the free online lecture from Nidesign Lab, but overall, I don't quite understand the content.
I've attended all the lectures, but now that I'm trying to create a portfolio on my own, I feel overwhelmed. I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.
I am in a situation where I need to find a job as quickly as possible.
💡 What if online classes don't work for you?
It's much better to get 1:1 coaching or small group coaching!

3. Why we need to help students find good jobs
Instructor of the academy < Director of the academy < Nidesign Lab
I hope that all students will quickly find employment in the places they want.
It's all the same for everyone. There's just a difference in degree.
For example, rather than an instructor hired by an academy to teach,
The desperation of the academy director who runs the academy cannot help but be more desperate.
And rather than those whose goal is the employment rate of students,
I (Need Design Lab) am trying to cultivate as a collaborative partner.
We may not all have the same passion for education.
My goal is also to help students find jobs.
On the other hand, in the long run
Our goal is also to foster collaboration as a partner.
When you work as a freelancer
I get contacted by various clients.
But every time that happened, I felt sorry that there was no freelancer to work with.
For those who want to start working as a freelancer right now,
Or it is also training for those who want to become freelancers later on.
I am conducting training with the idea of nurturing people who will work with me.
So how can we improve students' skills?
I am wondering if I can improve it as quickly as possible.
Everyone is fighting fiercely.

Until a few years ago, I was a woman who had taken a career break.
I had a small business in my late 20s that failed miserably (a pension).
In my mid-30s, I had a career gap of about 4 years.
I had to get back into the job market.
It was like starting everything over again.
The process was never easy.
Of the hours I'm awake during the day,
Except for the time spent eating, sleeping, and going to the bathroom
I took classes and created a portfolio.
Set the timer on your phone for 50 minutes and 10 minutes.
In 50 minutes, you have to finish all the tasks you set out to do within that time.
I closed my eyes and rested for the remaining 10 minutes.
SNS is so addictive that I only look at it when I'm eating.
And if you look at SNS, there are so many people who are doing well.
I was so upset and tearful that I deliberately stayed away from it.
Then, luckily, I was able to find a remote contract job.
My business failed and I had no money.
Thanks to that, I was able to go on to graduate school.
It wasn't easy to balance work and school, but I worked hard at everything.
It seemed like things would work out so well, but they didn't.
Something urgent came up at home
I was saving money to pay for my tuition while working.
I had to use it to handle that.
I didn't have money to register for the next semester of graduate school.
Fortunately, there was a tuition installment system.
I was able to finish the class by paying in installments.
I'll end the story of those dark times here.
Anyway and now..
Currently participating in projects for large corporations such as Bodyfriend.
We are receiving interview offers from all over the world, including the US, Canada, and Japan!
Even though she was in her late 30s after a 4-year career break,
The secret to successfully getting a job as a UXUI designer is,
Because we prepared 'strategically'.
Just working hard doesn't make you successful.
You need to study and prepare strategically.
What I have learned through studying and working so far
I've been organizing it steadily and consistently.
And I've included all of those tips in this lecture.

Q. I'm not a major in this field. Can I still get a job? I'm older, so will it be okay?
A. Before that, I would like to ask you a question.
If I say 'it's impossible', will you give up?
Even if someone says it's impossible, if you're willing to try, it's possible even if you're not a major.
It's possible even if you're old.
I've seen countless people who are not majoring in UXUI but are doing well as UXUI designers.
I also saw someone who started studying after the age of 40 and got a good job as a UXUI designer.
Let's rephrase the question above:
"How willing am I to go down this path, despite the difficulties?"
But you can't know until you actually try it.
You have no choice but to experience it indirectly through books or lecture previews.
I recommend that you take the free lectures offered on this website before making your decision.
Q. How long does it take to complete a portfolio?
A. It varies depending on each person's work speed, level of background knowledge, and the company they want to go to.
It's pointless to take an average, but I can recommend an appropriate target period.
I recommend that you aim to finish it within at least 6 months and at most 1 year.
If you have absolutely no background knowledge, it may be difficult to get a job within six months.
But that doesn't mean that if you prepare by investing for more than a year,
As you go on, your concentration will decrease and you may become anxious and give up.
Q. Can I ask questions during the lecture?
A. Of course! Please feel free to ask any questions you may have on this bulletin board.
Q. What if my portfolio ends up being similar to other students' portfolios because I'm following the template?
A. Your portfolio will never be exactly the same as other students'.
This is because each person has different products to choose from and different problems to solve.
There are countless products in this world,
The problems within that product go far beyond that.
Even if there is a very small chance that someone else has picked the same problem with the same product,
The solutions we come up with to solve it can't be the same.
With a very, very low probability close to zero
Even if the solution is the same as that person
Same product + same problem + same solution
Plus, we are all newbies, so we are all the same people.
The chances of applying to the same company are almost zero.
The probability of this is almost zero, but it's really unbelievable.
Even if there is such a person,
There are no practitioners who would question the process of solving a problem itself.
Because there is absolutely nothing that could be an issue in the problem-solving process.
Because there is nothing illogical about it.
We recommend that you watch this lecture on a PC or laptop to view it on a larger screen.
