RTL - A Taste of Red Teaming

RTL (Red Team Lite) is a Red Teaming introductory course where you can learn the concepts and technical elements required for full-chain Red Team penetration testing—including attacker infrastructure setup, C2 advancement, payload creation, reconnaissance, initial access, establishing a foothold, privilege escalation, lateral movement, post-exploitation, and data exfiltration—through the actual TTPs of real-world attackers.

Ah... this is so exciting.... thinking about uploading it to AWS and working on it really makes me feel like I've accomplished something. 😊😊😊😊😊 I'm almost done listening to the lectures now. It's difficult. It's definitely not an easy course. It's not an easy course, but the more difficult it is, the more there is to learn. Just because it's the next level after ethical hacking doesn't mean only professional ethical hackers can take it. But it's definitely difficult, that's for sure.

RTL - Red Team Lite

RTL is a Red Team introductory course where you can learn the concepts and technical elements required for Full-Chain Red Team penetration testingbuilding attacker infrastructure, C2 advancement, payload creation, reconnaissance, initial access, establishing a foothold, privilege escalation, lateral movement, post-exploitation, and data exfiltration — through actual attacker TTPs.

Why does our country continue to suffer from cyberattacks?

Despite training the best of the best white-hat hackers, consistently undergoing web and mobile penetration testing, and having numerous researchers discover hundreds or thousands of zero-day kernel vulnerabilities, why do we continue to suffer from cyberattacks?

Problem

Vulnerability research and web/mobile penetration testing are effective at finding and fixing vulnerabilities within a single system. However, they do not help Blue Teams experience, detect, and respond to the increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks of modern adversaries.

Solution

Through actual cyber attacks and similar levels of objective-based penetration testing known as Red Teaming, we simulate attackers and provide the Blue Team with realistic experience. This allows the Blue Team to comprehensively evaluate administrative and technical security personnel, procedures, and technologies, enabling them to identify and bridge existing gaps. cho Blue Team. Blue Team sẽ có thể đánh giá tổng thể về nhân lực, quy trình, công nghệ của bảo mật kỹ thuật và quản trị, từ đó tìm ra những lỗ hổng còn thiếu sót.

Teaching a global-level Red Team for the first time in Korea, is RTL

Red teaming and adversary simulation are services that have been provided in the global offensive security field for about 10 years, starting from the mid-2010s. In Korea, red teaming began to be adopted primarily by in-house teams at large corporations between 2023 and 2024, and specialized security firms are preparing to provide these services in earnest starting from 2025.

RTL teaches the real Red Teaming that aligns with international standards and the latest trends, based on three years of performing objective-based penetration testing in the US and hands-on experience in an in-house Red Team at a major Korean corporation..

What you will learn

Concepts

Is web/mobile hacking considered Red Teaming? Is product security Red Teaming? Is "AI Prompt Injection" Red Teaming? Does it only count as Red Teaming if you find and use Zero-days?

At RTL, we explore the true meaning, types, and methods of Red Teaming and Adversary Simulation that align with international standards.

Technology

You will learn about and practice the concepts of attacker infrastructure construction, C2 advancement, payload creation, information gathering, initial access, establishing a foothold, privilege escalation, lateral movement, post-exploitation, and data exfiltration used in practical Red Team penetration testing.

Practice

Based on what was learned in the technical section, you will conduct a practical Red Team penetration test targeting a hypothetical company, Raccoon Tech.

Notes Before Taking the Course

Notice Regarding Additional Charges

RTL builds a real attacker infrastructure on AWS to execute actual Red Team penetration testing. For purchasing attacker domains and setting up attacker servers, an additional fee of approximately 40,000 to 60,000 KRW per month may be incurred.

If you can use the AWS Free Tier: Domain + EC2 server costs will be 20,000–30,000 KRW per month

If you cannot use the AWS Free Tier: Domain + EC2 server costs will be 40,000 to 60,000 KRW per month

The above costs are not paid to Red Raccoon, but are expenses you pay to AWS and the domain registrar as a Red Team.

If you are unable to purchase AWS or a domain, or if you are unwilling to pay additional fees, you cannot purchase RTL. We recommend that you do not make a purchase. Because RTL builds and uses actual infrastructure used in real-world penetration testing, no other methods are provided.
