What you will gain after the course

  • The ability to interpret Korean in English word order

  • Accurate understanding of core essential middle school English grammar concepts and the ability to analyze sentence structures

  • The habit of direct reading and comprehension of English sentences through the identification of subject, verb, object, and complement.

  • The ability to apply grammatical knowledge to practical sentence interpretation and school exam problem-solving.

Even though you've studied English grammar, are you still unable to interpret English sentences?

The reason English is difficult is not just because you don't know the vocabulary. Because of the habit of reversing the English sentence structure to fit Korean word order, it becomes harder to grasp the structure and interpret the meaning as sentences get longer.

This course is based on the "1316 Grammar Level 2" textbook, where you will learn essential middle school English grammar while simultaneously mastering the direct reading method to understand English sentences in order from the beginning.

It does not stop at simply memorizing grammar rules. You will identify key sentence components such as subjects, verbs, objects, and complements, and see how the grammar you've learned is actually used within real English sentences.

You will learn the following

· Core grammar concepts required for middle school English
· How to identify the subject and verb of an English sentence
· How to distinguish between objects and complements
· How to read English sentences by breaking them into meaning units
· How to interpret from the front while maintaining English word order
· How to apply grammar concepts to reading comprehension and problem-solving

Features of this course

First, grammar and reading comprehension are not studied separately.

After learning grammatical concepts, you will directly interpret actual example sentences to see how the grammar you've learned functions within a sentence.

Second, do not force English sentences to be reversed into Korean word order.

We will practice direct reading and direct comprehension, connecting meanings from the beginning according to the order presented in the English sentence.

Third, I will explain step-by-step while looking at the textbook content together.

By taking notes in the textbook while listening to the lectures and translating the example sentences yourself, you can naturally master grammar concepts and sentence interpretation methods.

How to take the course

Please prepare the "1316 Grammar Level 2" textbook before class.

While listening to the lecture, take notes of the teacher's explanations directly in your textbook, and when example sentences appear, try to identify the sentence structure on your own first. You can learn more effectively by comparing your own interpretation with the lecture afterward.

English grammar does not become a skill just by memorizing it.

You must be able to apply the grammar you've learned to actual sentences and understand English sentences in their natural word order. Complete the foundations of both English grammar and reading comprehension through this lecture.
