Let's implement a movement where a character moves freely in 3D space.
In Korea, there weren't many websites built with 3.js, but with the recent rise of the metaverse, VR, and AR, demand for 3D content is increasing. However, I felt there was a significant lack of accessible materials for beginners, which is why I planned this course.
Section 0: Learn what three.js is and how to use it fundamentally. We'll also learn how to use Webpack!
Section 1 provides an overview of the basic elements and will enable you to compose a 3D scene.
Section 2: Learn about tools that make three.js development easier.
Section 3 Learn about transforms, including translation, scaling, and rotation.
Section 4 : Learn about geometry, which describes shapes.
Section 5 You can use various camera actions with just simple camera controls.
Section 6 Learn about the different materials that represent matter.
Section 7 Learn about different types of lighting and light.
Section 8 Learn how to detect clicks.
Let's create a variety of practical examples using what we've learned in Sections 9-13 .

Q. Is this a course that even beginners can take?
Anyone with a basic understanding of JavaScript can do this. While this isn't a JavaScript course, I'll explain JavaScript concepts that appear throughout, so you shouldn't have much difficulty.
Q. What level of content is covered in the class?
For more detailed information, please refer to the curriculum. The stepping stone game is the most challenging and final example. Think of it as studying the content required to create a 3D web application of that level.

Depending on the type of website you want to create, the curriculum covers the core content of three.js, so you will definitely be able to create something completely different from what you did before learning it.

This is a really great lecture that lets you learn the basics of Three.js. I thought, "How do you implement it in overseas 3D web?" It organizes the principles and explains them in an easy way, and it adds not only Three.js, but also how to use Blender, how physics are applied on the web, and a simple understanding of interaction, so this class was more than 1+1 for me. I'm really grateful to the teacher who created a great lecture with concise explanations and great examples!
