This lecture is a coordination lecture. Coordination is the process of establishing a concept strategy that applies requirements and creating a prototype plan before starting design development. This lecture is suitable for web planners preparing for PL.
When writing a SI bid proposal - Step 1
Hello~
I am currently writing a bid proposal for SI in the big data field.
The junior proposal planners I work with only know how to write partial content.
I didn't know the basics of how to systematically set up a proposal formation from the beginning.
Just like SI Junior Web Planners, someone from start to finish
He said he didn't have a chance to learn systematically.
So, these days, we are working together and teaching them from the basics.
If there is a junior proposal planner at the cafe, I would like to share it with you.
Today is the first hour, so let's start from Step 1~
For large-volume SI bidding projects consisting of multiple systems, the mother company and 3-4 partner companies with technical expertise write proposals together.
Most of the time, a proposal space is set up, just like a project execution space, where proposal managers from various companies gather to write proposals.
Especially for next-generation projects such as big data, cloud, and deep learning, it is difficult for one company to support and carry out all the technologies, so usually 3~4 companies with the technology to carry out the project stick together and work on it.
In this type of environment, the first step for the Mothership proposal leader is to structure the proposal list and assign RnR to each participating company.
That is, the RFP has specifications and requirements for how the proposal should be written.
In line with that requirement, we organize the overview and general information, and system-specific requests, and assign a person in charge to each company.
This will allow you to assign, manage and supervise RnR across multiple vendors.
Rather than starting with the content first, companies should gather together to assign RnR for support technology for each system in the RFP and discuss the writing guidelines and the overall content link.
And since each item has a score, you will need to pay a lot of attention to items with high scores and write them in accordance with the evaluation criteria in order to succeed in the bid.
As shown in the image below, first, list the table of contents of the proposal requested in the RFP, assign companies and people in charge, list the writing guidelines, evaluation categories and items, evaluation criteria, and distribution of points so that each company has responsibility and obligation.
Of course, you don't have to do this unless you're a Mother's suggestion worker.
When attending a structured meeting, you should know what the meeting is about and why it is needed.
This will allow us to understand what parts our company will be responsible for and give our opinions in meetings.
Sometimes, the leaders of each company send sub-proposers to meetings because they are busy.
There are sub-proposal workers who come to a meeting without knowing what kind of meeting it is.
I think it's basic that leaders should explain before sending.
Now that I think about it, there seem to be a lot of leaders who aren't very kind.
Structuring a document is not difficult, so if you look at the image samples and try it once, you will quickly get used to it^^
Next time I'll come back for Step 2~
