Hello, boss, I have been watching you since your YouTube channel, and this time I am using PL/SQL at the place I am going to, and I think I am gaining some confidence. The quality of the lectures is really practical, so I am very happy. If you upload more lectures in the future, I will trust you and want to pay right away. Thank you so much for making such a great lecture.

I found out that my new workplace uses PL/SQL, so I hurriedly took this course. I usually refer to reviews a lot before choosing a course, and I learned that the instructor's course was well-structured with practical content that could be completed in a short period, which led me to decide to take it. Now that I've finished the course, I feel confident that I can handle PL/SQL-related tasks at work without major issues 😊😊 Thank you so much for teaching content that's frequently used in actual work. I highly recommend this to anyone like me who needs to quickly learn PL/SQL and apply it to their work!

The lecture materials and the sections in the lecture are not synchronized. For example, the lecture material says "#Section3 [Practice] PL/SQL Just This Much," but the lecture is classified as "Section 4."

What you will gain after the course

  • PL/SQL Basic Syntax

  • PL/SQL like practice through scenarios

  • PL/SQL that can be used in operations.

PL/SQL that will give wings to Oracle DBMS!

Only the concepts necessary for practical use
Oracle PL/SQL

  • There's a world of difference between knowing and not knowing Oracle PL/SQL!
  • As you learn PL/SQL, you will experience how much easier your work becomes.

Do you often use simple SQL through DB, but are you worried about how to develop/verify complex work requests?
PL/SQL may be a good solution for these people.

I recommend this to these people

Oracle DBMS based computer operator

Newbies/Juniors who need to learn PL/SQL

Oracle DBMS based developer

Developers/operators who want to learn PL/SQL for real-world situations rather than simple concepts

  • You can see yourself creating PL/SQL statements from the things you were previously concerned about.
  • Create your own scripts in PL/SQL and you'll have a powerful weapon of your own that you can pull out whenever you need it.
  • You can easily handle tasks that are difficult to solve with applications by writing them in PL/SQL syntax.

What you'll learn 📚

  • It doesn't simply explain some concept.
  • Create scenarios using actual DB configurations and learn concepts through practice.
  • Through practice, you will understand each concept by comparing it to other concepts.
  • We will briefly cover the theory and concepts in advance and then move straight into practice.
  • Of course, if you are currently working with Oracle, you are all set! (You can skip the concept)

IT Latecomer Kim Bujang, who created this lecture, ✅

  • I have been operating databases and handling large amounts of data in the field for over 20 years, mainly using Oracle PL/SQL.
  • I think many people find the powerful language PL/SQL difficult, so I prepared this lecture with the intention of conveying the actual situation through hands-on practice.

Q&A 💬

Q. I know SQL, but do I really need to learn PL/SQL?

Public transportation is so good, do I really need a private car?
Of course, you can get the job done with just SQL, but PL/SQL gives SQL wings.

Q. I'm weak in SQL. Can I learn PL/SQL?

The basics of PL/SQL are SQL grammar. If you watch and follow each lecture, you will see that powerful PL/SQL can be created with just basic SQL.

Q. Don't you use PL/SQL a lot these days?

PL/SQL doesn't seem to be used much in recent SI development. However, PL/SQL is still used in many places as a powerful language. PL/SQL is useful not only for development but also for data verification and transfer (I absolutely use it!).

Q. What level of content is covered in the class?

This lecture is close to practical lecture. Therefore, it does not list all PL/SQL and lecture, but instead lectures at a level that can be used immediately in the field. If you have fully digested the lecture, you can find and use more when necessary.

Q. I am curious about the Oracle version and other tools used in class.

The lecture used Oracle 19C, 21C versions, but there is no problem if you follow the lecture with an older version. The tool used was SqlDeveloper. (※ PL/SQL grammar does not differ much depending on the Oracle version.)

📢 Please note before taking the class

  • We provide students with a PDF document explaining the concepts for each section.
  • Each class consists of approximately 5 minutes of concept and approximately 20 minutes of practice.
  • This course starts at a level that covers Oracle SQL.
  • If you do not have any Oracle experience, it would be better to take the free course first.
  • If you have any questions about the content, we will answer them. (If necessary, we will produce and upload additional videos.)

Recommended for

Who is this course right for?

  • Operator who operates the system through Oracle DBMS

  • Newcomers/juniors who need to learn PL/SQL

  • Developers who develop based on Oracle DBMS

  • Developers/operators who want to study in an environment like the real world, not with fragmentary knowledge

Need to know before starting?

  • Although it covers basic content, you can understand the content more easily if you have an understanding of Oracle and SQL.

  • Please take the free course "ORACLE Introduction for Developers: First Steps" first.

I have been working in the IT field for a long time.

IT seems to be a field that requires diligence, as one must stay sensitive to development trends.

I am also still continuously studying.

I hope that my modest knowledge can be of help to someone else.

Hello, and thank you for your feedback. I have checked the part you mentioned. As I was preparing the lecture, I made adjustments along the way, and it seems the numbers in the title and the video sequence don't match. I will check and correct it. I hope you gain good insights through the lecture. Have a great day!

It was very helpful to have PL/SQL explained based on practical experience. It's the best. The environment I'm in also deals with a lot of SQL and PL/SQL, so I've been wondering when to study PL/SQL. I just searched the web and played around with it. The tips the instructor gave are actually a little different from my environment. The parts I use are a little different. But I can see parts that I can use someday! It was nice to be able to learn by following them. I gained a lot of insight. By the way, it's not common for a senior to share knowledge like this, and I'm grateful and will follow suit, especially for scratching an itchy area like PL/SQL compared to Java and the cloud. Below are the parts that I personally found helpful, written as I remember them. - bulk insert into & forall - collection - How to create procedures & functions - Basic principles of PL/SQL such as blocks - How to create dummy data - Data migration (this was really helpful) - Scheduler (I also gained a lot of insight from this) Thank you.

Thank you for your valuable review. In fact, I made this course with my best effort because I didn't want to let such a good language as PL/SQL go to waste, and I'm so glad that it's helping someone. As I always think, the legacy we have is still valid even in the AI era. I hope you will grow steadily in your position.

Yes, the concept is important, but I tried to make it so that it can be used in actual practice. I think that even if you go to the place where you entered, you will probably be able to do more than the basics with this level of content. Thank you.

This is a review that makes me think about several things at the end of the year. Since I'm still working in the field, I believe I have a good understanding of how Oracle is actually used in real-world settings. Among those areas, PL/SQL is not a common domain. It seems difficult to get practical help by learning only from books. If you've gained confidence in practical work through my course, I think you probably won't have any difficulties in your future tasks. I sincerely appreciate this review that motivates me in many ways.
